  • It is what it is:| hope all is gravey between them too..word!

  • Az nd Nas tha best niggaz dat eva touched tha mic next to biggie, wu tang, bootcampclick nd jay z... Free Max B Free Al pac Free Vybz kartel !!

  • AZ dat nigga never got the props he deserved, ppl always try to infiltrate his relationship wit Nas, Can't two brothers be best friends for life? Of course close relationships have hard spots, that's what makes it grow and endure, but in this modern day society, it's all about confrontation and media sensationalism for profit.

  • AZ & NaS is classic together.it shouldnt be no reason why they not still makeing music together since they both still alive

  • @iamsukafree pete rock and premo want to make way more tracks with him and he isnt talking to them about music either.. Nas could make another album close to illmatic easily he just is ignoring the dudes that made illmatic great..he needs to get better production and work with dudes like AZ wayyy more often...

  • az is the best AT THE END OF THE DAY

  • Nas is a down low playa-hater!

  • On nearly all collabs AZ got the best of NAS but NAS solo career album 4 album make him better

  • Nas and Az are unreal together

  • AZ murdered nas shit on life's a bitch

  • @boahplayer bullshit nas's verse was perfect

  • @davidridgell nas bars were heat but i just felt like az mic prescence and bars on life's a bitch were more passionate and real

  • pause homie, might want to rethink the title!

  • I think Nas did feel like he had to compete with AZ....shit thats one of the few niggas that can outrhyme him he'd be stupid not to feel that way...I love Nas's music but i gotta feeling he a hoe ass nigga in his personal life. I remember on the Firm album Nas was absent from the two tracks that had some lyrical heavyweights on em (Canibus and Hal-A-Mil) but AZ appeared on both of those tracks...idk i thought that was shady...cuz Canibus ate that Desperados track, and Nas was doin the hook wtf??

  • @RKG5A5 there's a version of Desperados that features Nas and he bodies it ridiculous. AZ and Nas had the best chemistry possibly ever in rap, overall Nas > AZ.

  • @RKG5A5 I think nas didnt want AZ to outshine him I think he been envious os AZ since life's a bitch. I wish AZ would have got put on with bad boy or def jam back then. AZ a loyal dude and got caught up in bullshit. none of the dudes around nas has got real money. look at , bravehearts. anybody around him with talent nas curbed they shit i love nas as a artist but he a hypocrite he only out for himself

  • @boahplayer co-sign.

  • AZ's da fokin illest in this rap game.

  • "Life's A Bitch" is one of the nicest songs in the lexicon of hiphop music! I love how they spit on it. AZ is going very hard with a rapid fire kind of style, while Nas is rather cool with his delivery. Of course, the song is old ("Illmatic" dropped in '94) and other then the older hiphop heads, not many have heard it nowadays. Still, like I said, one of the nicest songs in hiphop!

  • sounds like AZ has alot more love for Nas than Nas has for AZ

  • @MrExit15 nas didnt put on AZ , Quan OR The bravehearts like he needed to do. I respect 50 more because he put out folks. Nas could have made a lot more money for him and his crew.

  • Ain't nothin like the collaborations of Nas and AZ. The last collabs they did were probably between "The Essence" and "Serious", if I'm not mistaken. And it's too little that us as supporters don't know like what caused Nas to stray away from Aziatic in the first place or why Nas felt that he had to compete with AZ's lyrical "Format", if that indeed was the case. Hopefully, it all works out, if it hasn't already.

  • is there another part to this interview?? seem like it was cut off.

  • az seems like a cool nig but theres alot that goes on behind the scenes that us rap fans dont know about.. whatever the problem is hopefully they work it out cuz there chemistry is like no other

  • @oneluv24 yeah dude is mad cool. i've always wonder why that wasn't a single smh. i agree with az that was some corny shit smh.

  • Thank you AZ. Working together. YING YANG = NAS + AZ

  • idkk . i personally think Nas doesnt really like AZ anymore.. like ive seen interviews with nas and when they mention "oh is the firm ever getting back together, or are u gonna do a song with az , or some shit like that nas sort of laughs but kinda beets around the bush.. like az has said so himself that he wants to do a song and that he would be down to do another song with nas and shit.. well atleast this what i think.

  • @szebsone they did more songs, and funny thing in a most recent concert and interview. people asked about az. he said he has 8 different numbers of az;s. I FEEL NAS NEED TO MAKE THAT HAPPEN. BUT NAS DOES WHAT HE WANTS. LIKE DOING A COLLABO ALBUM WITH DAMIAN MARLEY. I MEAN WHO THE FUCK WANTS TO HEAR THAT?? SMH

  • @BLACKFONZIRELLI yea man i see your point.. idk man niggas gotta keep it more real within each other. cuz nas keeps it real with hip hop and so does az. but they have to keep it real with each other.

  • PPL always tell me i sound similar 2 AZ

  • never heard Nas speak on AZ.

  • Az a real nigga!

  • But at then i'm just speakin' on shit that i've seen in interviews, maybe them niggas are REALLY are each other's people??????

  • I'm sayin' can we get at least ONE Nas/A.Z. or at least ONE Nas/Jay compilation album? Damn niggas, put cha egos to the side for about 15 tracks. What's disturbing is that it seems like Nas and A.Z. were never real "friends."

  • maybe nas got bigheaded and forgot who his main peoples was that came up with him or wanted to keep his circle small. idk what the case was.

  • I think he forgot about all his people. If you saw that Cormega DVD off his latest album "Who am I?", Cormega points out that Nas gave shout outs to a lotta people on his album "Illmatic", but only chilled with a quarter of those people. I dunno, Nas may be a good rapper, but folks like AZ are good in the streets

  • nigga u ain't speak up so what can u say yo fault nigga take responsibilities for yo fuckin actions

  • niggas jus don't understand da fuckin game dis got plenty cuts out wit nas stop playing everything don't go the way you want grow up

  • Damn! Dude sound mad pissed at the part where he said "He was like.......we gotta go through this person, that person....I THOUGHT IT WAS CORNY.......at the end of the day!". Sound like he got some issues with the way Nas handled the situation, but he still got love for dude though. So thats good. I just think its as simple as Nas wanting to do Nas. No beef, no shaddy shit. Just Nas wanting to do what he wants musically. And musically hes not interested in a AZ collab(atleast not at the moment)

  • he wasn't pissed...just making a point

  • thank u for saying that. people try to make things out to be. more than it actually was smh. plus like i told someone on this set. him and nas did 5 more songs after that misunderstanding smh.

  • nas did many of songs with az.

i don't know what happen with az & nas but they just need to make up.

nas can't forget about az because az is the only feature on his 1st record. how could you forget about az ?

so i don't think it was like nas left him for dead. something had to happen.

  • u KNOW WHAT, I BELIEVE HE DIDNT WANT AZ TO OUTSHINE HIM CAUSE AZ RAPS MORE ENTERTAININGLY!

  • people change, people grow, thats life. " a thug changes, love changes, and best friends become strangers, word up" - Nasir Jones.

  • That was good how you put it. It was written!

  • thats sum of the realest bars ever. az should listen 2 em.

  • Easy for Nas to say something like "A thug changes, love changes, and best friends become strangers, word up" since he screwed a number of people such as Cormega, Nature, Dre, and AZ. Remember The Firm?

  • How didi nas fuck dre?

  • its really not that serious.

Cormega was actually talking slick about the Firm in genral. Nas didnt sign with Dre. cuz he had a better offer with Columbia and him and AZ just had to focus on themselves. they werent a duo.

  • besides...how can you not help out someone who was there with you since the beginning (AZ). Someone who was on your CLASSIC album.

  • @Jonny89718 "The Message" amen man.

  • @Jonny89718 Street dreams

  • AZ is my best

    what a fucking beast !!

  • this interview is quite typical of alliances being outgrown. Metamorphosis is the culprit here. There is no more NAS and AZ....but rather Nasir Jones and Anthony Cruz.

  • It's funny as hell and real at the same time listening to AZ talk about Esco!

  • So you think AZ and Nas will ever work together again?

  • uhh idnt know...i'm gonna say if it was up 2 AZ, yeah...if it was up to Nas I'm not sure

  • only way theyll work together again if nas get off whatever shit he on.from the sound of it az with it

  • are they beefin?

  • nah not that i kno of its jus it sound like nas stopped fuckin wit him in anotha interview he said nas got married and kinda fell back

  • nah i mean nas just moved on or somethin, like he dealin wit newcomers like AZ i think although highly underrated can still pop a hype track with nas no questions asked

  • AZ is one of my top 3 rappers! He's wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy underratted!!!!!!

  • o true. i wont lie i didn't know he was on illmatic till i heard him talkin now then i recognized the voice, goes to show media aint jack when it come to gettin ur news

  • enough is not enough lol

  • Come on Ant, stop bein' all diplomatic because this ain't what you really believe...all of this politically-correct sh*t you spittin'. You know you wanna slap fire outta Nas' mouth...had he co-signed you as opposed to like how he co-signed Jungle and Nayshawn and Horse ("Oochie Wally"), you would have made a bigger imprint...then again, maybe not. You were down with the firm and you ain't never use that leverage so maybe you are right to be so humble, it's all on you...I guess. lol.

  • This shit is misleading... Why does it start off with "AZ working with Nas"? Shit got my hopes up....

  • thts AZ ALBUM N4L IS A CLASSIC
