  • Nice machine! The control knobs look like those used on the old Webcor machines from the same time period!

  • WOOOW! That is a NICE machine! Sounded pretty good, neat how it worked with original paper capacitors and hope and think you did replave them, as you showed one on a tester. That machine is in fine shape, I hope my high-voltage capacitors come in the mail soon, so I can restore a 1957 Webcor reel to reel that needs some new caps.

  • It sounds much better in reality than on this video, and even better when you don't overload the recordings :-)

    It was in a rather bad shape when I got it for repair, nothing would move, rubber parts were rotten, and the amplifier was noisy.

    I was a little sad when I had to replace the old capacitors, now it's no longer in original condition. But you don't see the caps from the outside, and the customer who brought it for repair was more interested in listening to his tapes than original shape.
