Holy crap, I never even knew there was an official video for this. This is seriously one of the best covers ever, high in the running for one of the best songs ever. Kens covers are mind blowingly amazing. Hell, Depeche Mode even conceded that Failures cover of Enjoy the Silence was better than the original. At any rate, thanks for posting this!
Thanks for this upload! Don't have the CD with me at work and really wanted to hear it. Also, in case anyone cares....Failure - Magnified and Comfort are both getting proper vinyl releases this summer.
Its sad. I have been trying to find this song for about 15 years and now, today, i have Found it! I remember recording it for the raido and playing it over and over. One of my top three songs of all time!!!
ken andrews is sooooooo under rated!! he is the brains behind a perfect circle and failure was so much better than those grunge bands of the 90s. shame people couldnt see the talent. his version of the song the nurse that loved me is waaay better than maynards. this is truly an awsome video and paul is awsome as well.
@stoppalin How was he the brains behind APC all he did was produce for them lmao. While I will admit good mixing can make a great song excellent, that about tips the scale, ultimately it is the artists creativity that makes the music.
@v3nge Listen to Failure you can hear the influence. Ken Andrews is the brains behind APC. I too thought that this was Maynard's brain child. Hell, The nurse that loved me isn't even MJK's song. I believe MJK is a great artist, but Ken Andrews is very much underrated as is D'amour.
i've been looking for this song, not for the video but the song itself. i love this version of this song. I had a cassette tape compilation with this on it...also had photograph by the verve pipe on it. i miss that tape...
but thanks again for putting this up...i hit favorite within the first few notes of the song..thanks for the warning too, but alas, it was too late for me, it was already stuck in my head...
Thanks for the add, this is great, never saw the video as the internet not so great in 1995, lol, but now 16 years later, fuck yea!

by the way, for all of those who thinks this is tool and failure together, its not, maynards just featured on silly love songs

I adore the replicants, but why do all coverversions leave out the fantastic harmonic line from the fading section out of the original??
