The Sasquatch Music Festival is held at the Gorge Ampitheatre located above the Columbia River Gorge in George, Washington. It's a 2 and a half hour drive southeast of downtown Seattle. It's the best outdoor venue l've been to & the tickets are half the price of Coachella's, another festival I also love.

That's only the floor of that one stage btw, there is a huge hill surrounding it, facing the stage.
such an amazing view!
but yeah Sas isn't much compared to the Euro fests

klcahill: I agree. I've seen Gogol at Coachella 08 & Sasquatch 09, both huge venues. I'd love to catch them at a smaller venue :)

I hadn't heard of Gogol until this performance and for that reason were definetly my breakthrough band of the festival....they blew my mind!
