The only pain was that he never found pace whithin himself, writers such as Dostoyevski weren't denied success and happines towards their last years. My favourite all time Kafka book is Amerika: The man who disapeared. I also love the Castle
@MrDavital1: Quite right, and , of course, his relationship with his father was determinant for the develop of his art. Amerika is his greatest work , in my opinion, but "the castle" is more "kafkian", you know what I mean. Thank you for your comment.
I have never felt that my soul was revealed in writing to me, more so than when I read Kafka, never have I felt such a connection to a writer. Quite simply, I love him for living.
Yeah, of course, I read it everyday... Did you notice the difference between his diary and his letters ? In his diary, one feels he is a depressive and neurotic guy... but in his letters, he is always in a good mood . His life was that: a struggle In the depth of his soul. Outwardly, he was a joyful and kind man...
his life is literature. I can't tell it so good in English because I'm german. But I think his writing is magic and his life is literature. He saw it so, of course. :-) I love the despair in his novels. And it comes from his heart.
yeah, his writing is "cold" , sometimes you can believe you are reading The Bible (his language is very similar to the Scriptures) . But , I must confess he, as a person, is far more interesting than his literature ( I know : Kafka´s fans will hate me)
Great Video. I like it. And I love Kafka, because there is no answer in his novels and in his writing. It seems to be one - but there's nothing. It's like the world. And our souls.
I am happy you like Kafka. I admired him a lot when I was 18 years and still do of course. So, Mariano, are you ready to come to Prague??? I invite you of course. Just another question: is it you playing the piano?
I said I invite you because I go to Prague very often, at least two times a year (the next time will 1st week of November probably) and because we are writing now to each other for a long time, so I condider that we are "friends". So, for your first visit in Europe it would be nice to meet you, when you have time. Thank you again for your support and try to upload something please where you are playinge the piano.
Of course we are friends! And I am obviously eager to visit europe. The problem is that I dont have the money... but when i get it , I will tell you. Of course it would be great to visit that places with you, because you know that countries very good and you could show me all the great things to see. there is a video of my concert, but my friend have it and I dont know when he will give me the recording

Thank you very much for promoting my videos. I had a look on truecrypt, another great channel with over 2000 subscriptions!!! I could imagine that you don't have the money as you don't work. But I am sure you will find it very soon, because you really want to visit Europe. Yes, just tell me when you are ready to come to Europe and I will show you all the places you want to see. By the way, except the Czech Republic, what other places are you interested in? See you, my friend!

yeah, yeah, he always said that... I read all his books ... and I am sure kafka is more a philosopher than a writer... what do you think?

well, I read his books in spanish ( worst)
he was too weak for living in this world (as Milena Jesenska wrote about him) he lived to comunicate the suffering, the modern suffering...
(I always want to cry when I speak about this subject)

I have my final examination on the university done about his novels. I like his "cold" language. And the "pictures" in my head, when I'm reading him.

HI, massimo ! my first comment ! thanks !
What do you mean with "I invite you"? ...
By the way, yes, I am playing the piano of course (a lot of hours per day) and studying in the Conservatory.
Kafka Is a great writer for an 19 years old melancholic boy like me ...
