@jro222 112 pitches in 2003 was normal. They didn't put nearly as much emphasis on pitch counts back then like they do today. Prior could've thrown 130 pitches.

The next batter is Todd Hollandsworth.....and the Cubs Intentionally Walk him. Next hitter is Mike Mordecai and he drives in 3 runs with a double, then the next guy Juan Pierre drives in Mordecai with a single. If the Cubs had pitched to Hollandsworth.....it very well could have been just 4-3. 2 OUT INTENTIONAL WALKS ARE FOR IDIOTS

1. Dusty Baker left Pryor in the game way too long which he became erratic, starting walking batters and threw a wild pitch?

2. Alex Gonzales made a error of a taylor made double play.

3. From the 8th inning of Game 6 to the 9th inning of Game 7, the Cubs' pitching staff gave up 17 runs.
