I find it ridiculous that they bash this game for it's "generic plot and narrative". Sometimes its better that way. Ideas of going on a suicide mission to find your girlfriend isn't necessarily a bad thing when realized in another game universe. PREY did it and look how good that game was. Prey 2 may be even better.

Batman arkham asylum, batman arkham city, deus ex hr, la noire, saints row the third, god of war 3, infamous 2, alan wake & more you don't NEED a tacked on multiplayer to make a game great

@charlyrozen There's still heaps of awesome games without multiplayer. Dead Space, Ratchet & Clank, Oblivion, Portal, L.A Noire, Just Cause 2, Heavy Rain, Assassin's Creed, Uncharted, & heaps more. The only games that I could see getting rid of their campaign are games like BF and CoD.

Sites like GameSpot or IGN DO NOT rate games with professionalism. Their reasons for low rating a game that deserved better is not only unjust at times, but down out right lame. The same reviewers that low rate a good game will super rate a game that looks like it was made in the 90s. How does that happens? Get a clue. It's best to try a demo of a game or wait for the price to drop, or maybe play it at a friend's house or something. Making up your mind based on these sites is not wise.

I rented it for free from a library, and I felt like the calories I burned picking it up was a waste. The story was God-awful, but the worst part is that you can only understand the story through the LOADING SCREEN MESSAGES. Seriously - the most understandable parts of the story (which are spoilers!) are told ONLY in the loading screens, nowhere else - that which is discussed in-game is so bad it's completely incomprehensible.

I loved this game, why the critics panned it I dunno. I had a gaming marathon with this, started it at 8 AM and beat it at 7 PM... Oh man was it fun. It is filled to the brim with set pieces, huge bosses, new features constantly thrown at you, new area's, story twists. I can't see a single thing wrong with it. Well worth the 20 bucks.

I rented it and it's nice, it's not great, but it's entertaining. Nice menus, nice art design, but the combat actions can be very clunky at times, and the jetpack combat and shooting are very hard to perform.

Considering its price nowadays, it's a safe buy.

Playing this game for an hour or so now and i've gotta say... the game is DECENT. IGN & Gamespot etc are wrong, they give it a bad rating because it isnt as good as other games like uncharted etc (even though it defintly reminds me of uncharted 2) but it's good in it's own right. I guess this game is a hit or miss, if you're a person who likes to stack up on you're trophies or achievements this is good.

After playing the demo I think the game has potential. simple controls are a +, nice scenery +, not being 10% single player and 90% multiplayer is also good IMHO. I'd agree it's not worth 60 USD or equivalent, really only worth 7 quid

Got this yesterday from asda for 7 quid its really not a bad game an the reviewer is right when you do get to the later levels with the jet pack its quite alot of fun! So its well worth the price you can now get it for.
