@vazilin4ik It had a PHYSICS ENGINE. Half-life had barely any good physics. Plus, There's a lot more you can do with the source engine. Half-Life 2 is the better. Source did plenty things new, Like improve team fortress (See the game its awesome) And Counter-Strike (HDR did ALOT.). And the physics engine allowed for more capabilitys. Plus, Half-Life 2 had more things (Longer game, Extensions (Episodes)) And much more. Goldsrc is outdated. Source is not. That is all.

But Valve so far has been mostly a PC Game Developer, meaning they dont have to make new consoles to keep with their rivals, they can put their time and money into making the games, plus, with PC games, they can get updated easily and stay fresh, please no trolls
