For those of you who think abortion is fine in the first trimester, go watch The Silent Scream part 3. That is a first trimester abortion. The pro-abortion crowd will try and tell you it's a fake or that it's propaganda when the truth is that it has been confirmed as being true by multiple abortionists. ProLifeGuy, it's me again. Your main gripe always seems to be with third-trimester abortions. But you completely fail to realise that 90% of abortions are done in the first 12 weeks.
I personally think that that in the the third-trimester of pregnancy, abortion should be out of the question, the baby is developed enough to be considered human. But why should these particular cases mean that abortion is wrong in absolute?

Partial birth abortion is probably as rare as rape pregnancies. Which I still fail to see how people somehow "know" if a woman that has had an abortion was raped or not.

@iloverachelkae No that's with the IDX which has been illegal since 2003. In LTA they first give the fetus an injection so it dies and then take it out. Sometimes they have to take limb by limb depending on how big it is or they have to give her a c-section so this is safer for her. Abortions as late as when they still performed IDX is only for serious health reasons.

Actually there are restrictions on when you can get abortions based on the trimesters. In the first trimester all states are required to offer abortions on request. Its somewhat restricted in the 2nd trimester, and in the third trimester its only allowed in the case of rape or incest or if the mother's life or health is in danger.
If you are against late term abortions you should make early term abortions more easily available. If it is early term abortions you really object to, why make late term abortions the crux of your argument? More than 90% of abortions happen in the first trimester-- the rest happen becasue of medical complications, not because the woman has procrastinated.

ProLifeGuy, it's me again. Your main gripe always seems to be with third-trimester abortions. But you completely fail to realise that 90% of abortions are done in the first 12 weeks.
I personally think that that in the the third-trimester of pregnancy, abortion should be out of the question, the baby is developed enough to be considered human. But why should these particular cases mean that abortion is wrong in absolute?

Anyway, in the first 12 weeks of pregnancy when most abortions take place, the baby doesn't even have the required capacity or neurological wiring to feel pain or even think for itself.
Until the baby is developed enough to be considered a potentially self-sustaining entity, isn't human. Show me the medical data proving that fetuses before the 24th week can feel pain.

The organs sold to the research companies are those retrieved from still births at the hospital that have been cleared by the governing parties. Us here at the clinic usually eat the organs from the partial birth abortions. Check your facts. :)

Dependency doesn't determine whether someone is an idividual or not. Born babies are being sustained by their mothers. Are they not individual? If that is the case then you wouldn't be an individual until you moved out of your parents house.

i don't like late term abortions. but early abortions i fully support. late term abortions should be used only in cases where the health of the fetus or the mother is at stake. i think we should be developing artificial wombs to transplant the fetuses into, and their should be a volantary organization that is sponsored by pro-lifers to pay for the lives of the babies and children that were unwanted, but saved do to these particular values.

@iloverachelkae No that's with the IDX which has been illegal since 2003. In LTA they first give the fetus an injection so it dies and then take it out. Sometimes they have to take limb by limb depending on how big it is or they have to give her a c-section so this is safer for her. Abortions as late as when they still performed IDX is only for serious health reasons.

You do realize that 3rd trimester abortgions are illegal in all 50 states except in the case of rape or incest or serious risk of death to the mother.
SO either you are ignorant of the current laws or you're an asshole who would tell a raped woman that was kept in a dungeon for 7 months she can't get an abortion because she's too late.

Actually there are restrictions on when you can get abortions based on the trimesters. In the first trimester all states are required to offer abortions on request. Its somewhat restricted in the 2nd trimester, and in the third trimester its only allowed in the case of rape or incest or if the mother's life or health is in danger.

The choice to give birth or abort should be the woman's-- with reasonable conditions imposed by law. Abortion per se is never going to be made illegal again in the US-- that was just a fantasy that some politicians led religious folks to believe could really happen for a awhile.

I disagree with you saying that the baby feels pain. I don't know about you but I don't even recall being alive until I was around 3 years old. The baby most likely doesn't have enough brain cells or a developed nervous system yet to actually "feel" pain. And even if it were to feel pain it wouldn't have any memory of it, especially since it would be dead shortly after.

The embryo of a baby is not a PERSON. If anything, it is closer to a developing LIZARD. Obviously you know nothing about the reproductive cycle at all. If it were a human, it would be able to respond to the outside world, would be able to live without the support of its parent, etc. If you give birth after 4 weeks, is that baby going to survive? No? Okay, let me tell you this. A baby cannot do anything by itself without the help of its mother. So do you say that the baby is dead? No. The only thing separating it from being "considered" as a human being is the the fact that it's in the womb.

Reacting to stimuli-that can be taking in nutrients.
Growth&reproduction-their number of cells multiply.
And metabolism- the organelles in the cells take care of that.
