Definitely not northern English as I'm from the north and familiar with most of those accents. I think he's Scottish. I can see why people would say Scouse, Geordie or Welsh though, since these accents have links to Scottish/Irish historically, and share phonological characteristics with Scottish & Irish languages, and have a much more varied intonation than other English dialects (like the flat, banal Lancastrian English I speak!).

@chippersaurus He's not just Welsh he's northern English. I think Manchester or Yorkshire. Although sometimes it does sound Welsh because it's only a piss take. I guess it's a mash up of all 3.

@ojideagu Its not manchester mate im from there and thats no Mancunian accent. Plus I go Uni in Leeds aswell its not a Yorkshire accent either (or from ive heard from the locals). most likely Welsh or maybe a scouse accent but i doubt that aswell

@ojideagu Yeah I have it never differs majory also I said i doubted it be a scouse accent also. I never said it was definetly Welsh either but the fact in the matter is. It's no where near like a Mancunian accent. IF you'd like proof listen to I dont know Paul scholes speak or even Noel Gallagher and tell me if you find any similarities. As for Yorkshire get an interview up with the Arctic monkeys. The only reason I brought scouse and Welsh up was becuase its spoken fast with high pitch voice...
