it's sequential. look at his hands. he has F1 style paddles behind the steering wheel. the other one is auxiliary ( a backup if you want ). WRC rally cars used to have that backup shifter when the paddles first appeared in the competition.

it's a normal sequential gearbox, with an idraulic piston that push the stick comanded by the paddles ;)

Try turning you're computer off then back on again. It happens to me sometimes also and that is how I fix it.
