hahahaha, ya fucking right. i was just about to post how much this guy sucks too. I hate to break it to you guys, but this isn't anything considered a solo. It's a simple double bass with a few cymbal and snare hits, with some tom rolls thrown in there. It just sounds so fast, and that he's hitting so many drums because the bass drum is fucking turned up louder than any other drum or cymbal and he can only do the same consistent bass beat.

When he played on the Burning for Buddy tribute CD to Buddy Rich, he played in a completely different style to what most GnR/Velvet Revolver fans would be familiar with. He's a good groove drummer. Matt's solos got better towards the end of the tour, around 1993 they were pretty awesome. 1992 he did pretty much the same solo in every show.
