  • this made me happy

  • this is paul!! really paul!!! really paul

  • Is it just me, or is John humping the keyboard @8:18???? :O

  • @CuteMcBeauty I think u r right. The others said John went kind of crazy in this concert. Remember that they roughly slept for the past two days, and they have mentioned in interviews that they had weed for breakfast that mornong. Therefore, everything was kind of a dream in that moment for them. They said they enjoyed anyway, so good 4 them, and especially goo 4 John, who looks he was having a veeeeeery good time hehe

  • @4:05 Awwww, look at that... awww...

  • from now on i'm gonna be playing the keyboard like that

  • How the hell did they harmonize so well with all of that screaming? Best band that ever was.

  • What an absolutely clueless douchebag that interviewer is.

  • @Beetso Exactly. He is convinced that the Beatles are a passing thing. Little did he know they would be endless.

  • @Beetso Agreed, what a dick. As with every celebrity, the press is always trying to undermine their popularity. I wanna see them try to take a poke at Sir Paul these days... They're probably getting a200 dollar monthly pension paycheck while Paul's richer than Rockefeller and still rocking young , old and in between.

  • @CuteMcBeauty In context, those 'black & white' footage interviews were conducted the FOLLOWING year, 1966 to investigated the bands popularity in relation to the 'Beatles Bigger Than Jesus' controversy during their final tour. Incidentally, the interviewer was Leonard Harris, who later played the part of Senator Charles Palantine in the classic movie 'Taxi Driver', but was the arts & entertainment critic for WCBS-TV here when he did the report

  • @Beetso If youre interested, please read my comment on here made today about the interviewer

  • Ugh! The flashing shots thing in the beginning of this is nauseating.

  • See all those crying girls? I would've been one of them.

  • Too many kids was conceived that day... :-)

  • just stop comparing Bieber to the mighty Beatles

  • Baby's in Black is the second number ... good god, did I ever want a Nehru jacket!

  • Please take me with you in your time machine, please!!

  • Whats is the name of second song?

  • loudness of justin bieber fans = 60 decibels

loudness of Beatles fans = 120 decibles

  • @JohnLennoninmyGuitar loudness with MENUDO =110 decibels lol just kidding

  • They reached the pinnacle of greatness.

  • I bet so many orgasms from girls were going on as the Beatles were going into stage.

  • Even Bieber can't make that much girls go crazy

  • I got to see Paul back in 89 Berkley CA. It was one great show. I'll never forget it for as long as I live. This was the closest thing to seeing the Beatles I've experienced. They still are the best thats ever been

  • anybody else thank god they get to see a concert in color?

  • "..ah, look a'that!..." =)

  • Why is Justin Bieber's fuckin name even on a Beatles site?

  • @SuperLoganhunter because you just said it. LMFAO

  • the kid at 0:42 was wrong about one thing...the Beatles will last not just until the stop making music but forever. This band is still so mega popular decades after they broke up. They are the most famous band in the world simply because their music is fun, beautiful and just overall awesome. The Beatles have effected everyone in the world in one way or the other. More than Justin freakin Bieber can say.

  • I was shown this in Music Class.

  • Amazing..

Amazing how they made pussies wet..

  • Remove the the "Dislike Button" ASAFP (:)_ Ninja Speed Please ..

  • @radr4lf12 Please be more original it's god fucking annoying seeing the same comments over again.

  • A lot of bands and performers made the girls scream and go crazy. The Beatles did that too, plus they did a lot of things that were different than any other musicians or pop stars. Their music channels the truth and the life. Go to TruthContest(dot)com, and on the main page of the contest, open The Present and read the section about The Beatles.

  • I'd give half of my life just to see them live...

  • Damn they were so loved!

  • BEST BAND EVER!<333333 i love the way they're having a good time(: the things i would to to just to see them young again, playing in concert. . this sounds kind of weird but even though Paul, John, George, and Ringo are sweaty they still look so effing cute<33333 and their outfits here are freaking EPIC

  • i love the pure joy on Georges face while he's playing. This videos a pure classic. no group will EVER be like them.

  • I thought they couldn't get louder, then when they start playing at 2:20 I was wrong

  • most people dont realize that the music from Shea Concert was post dubbed in march 66 with bealtes performing live to the film in a studio ...........

  • if u dislike th beatles then ur probably getting below a 3.0 gpa cause that just aint smart

  • haha 7:30 I just laughed xD

  • I'm amazed by this video. It really captures the atmosphere that such a talented and popular group like The Beatles create.

  • This is the first time ever a band had played in a stadium

  • just imagine what that must have felt like to be them playin that!

  • The greatest band of all time playing the greatest gig of all time, what an arsehole the interviewer is at the start tho, dumb cunt.

  • Thumbs up if you love the way John plays the keyboard <3

  • Forever untouchable. The greatest that ever was and ever will be.

  • 15 year old Meryl Streep behind the kid talking at 0:39

  • @Appleholic1 You are absolutely right. Good eye!

  • announcer-"how long do you think the beatles will last?"

guy-"as long as they keep playing they'll last for ever"

  • (lennon and mcCartney) the greatist poets ever........

  • OH MY GOD!!! I HAVE MIXED EMOTIONS!! I'M CRYING AND I'M SAD AND I'M HAPPY!! IF ONLY THE BEATLES COULD PLAY JUST ONE MORE CONCERT ONE MORE TIME THAT WOULD BE THE BEST THING THATS EVER HAPPENED TO MEE!!!!

  • they couldn't even hear themselves play you know...

  • 1:17 their music will last forever and they still bring happiness to us...

  • WHAT YOU NAME OF THE MUSIC

  • The audience sure seemed to enjoy the Beatles. Any of those posting here who say they were overrated certainly weren't alive in the mid-60's.

  • i hope some day that there will be and band just like them but, we all know that the beatles where the band that changed the world, and no other band could do that.

  • Best part was from 0:00 to 9:58

  • @trevsta30210 beatles always sucked live. tow atch them perform live is like watching pat boone singing little richard songs. silly pop bands like the beatles should stay away from rockand roll. they make fools of themselves.

  • @45arther you do realize the beatles are a rock band? not a pop band. and you gotta give them praise for doing as well as they did. they could barely hear themselves play, if at all. and they still managed to play well

  • best part was from 0:00 to 9:68

  • Man, do I wish I could drum for an audience like that.

  • "For Safety's Sake, Please Stay in Your Seat" lol- stampede concerns!

  • wooowww harika

  • heý_passt_hiër_ñêt_réín_âbã_ïch_bïn_só_èínsåm_wîll_jèmàñd_mït_mía_schrèíben

  • wouldnt it be cool to go to a baseball stadium and know you could have sex with every single women there.

  • it's so strange that i can feel nostalgia for this...considering i was born 23 years after this haha

  • @schnellschnell I was born 34 years after this.

  • Comment removed

  • This has got to be among the most amazing concerts ever. It half takes my breath away and I can feel the electrifying excitement even though this is just a film of it. I can't imagine what an overwhelming experience it would've been to BE THERE.

I love how George and John break into laughter at 7:29 (it's not like it really mattered anyhow, no one could hear over the screaming!). And the girl making a run for it across the field! That's one really determined fan!

  • The Beatles>The Beatles<The Beatles

  • The Girl was right. They Never will go out of style.

  • They Girl was right. They Never will go out of style.

  • incredible........

  • How long will they last? The band, another five years. Their music....forever!!!!!

  • They have lasted, and they have brought happiness to everybody.

  • Why exactly is there a dislike button and who accidentally clicked it?

  • they were incridible..

  • The Beatles were more than a pop-rock band, they were a cultural phenomenon! You can't talk about The Beatles without mentioning the sixties and you can't talk about the sixties without mentioning The Beatles :)

  • 82 people 'Across the universe' need "help'!

  • 82 people 'Across the universe' need "help'!

  • 82 people shove raw meat deep into their anuses...and I'd eat it

  • Stop at 8:47. "FOR SAFETY SAKE PLEASE STAY IN YOUR SEATS".

  • "They'll never go out of style" 50 years later and it's been proven to be true.

  • i've always wondered how loud that concert was

  • This shit is a different level to that twat these days

This will never be seen again

Liverpool rule the world thanks to The Beatles.

  • i wish i could have been born earlier to see them play live. Its funny, everytime I go to school I pass citifield, where the shea stadium used to be :/

  • CAN I PLEASE HAVE A TIME MACHINE THX

  • 4:38 '' I fucking love them''

  • The best !!!

  • Pause at 5:37. An image that defined a generation.

  • 0:42

look at the way that grown teenager compliments the beatles, he directly says they are not for girls, because they are talented.

Will we ever see a teenage boy say that about Justin Bieber? I don't think so

  • @SuperHeroMania The Beatles are for girls because they're talented. Girls dig talent.

  • I had never thought about how much of a "girlie" thing the beatles were until the reporter asked that question o.O

  • HA! that news man jujst got pwned! :D

  • It's so weird, they show the same screaming girls in every video...lol

  • lady handing out tissues to everyone crying 5:13

  • haha...in the song "I'm Down", John and George didn't seem to be feeling down as they were singing !

  • Comment removed

  • how is john so sweaty about 2 seconds into the performance?

  • @lilelles971 Well I'd be a little bit sweaty beforehand, knowing you'll be playing before 50,000+ people, and later on television to millions of homes across the nation, know what I mean?

  • @lilelles971

This video isn't in the order of the concert so the part where they were sweaty was probably towards the end of the concert.

  • 80 people hate music

  • Amazing!

  • The last song John is really enjoying himself, hahaha, and George is just having the same fun. That is fantastic.

  • Thanks. Great video. Fun to blast way back to the past.

  • wish I was there...probably would be deaf afterwards though but it would be worth it

  • Dear Youtube.

There´s a dislike button in a "The Beatles" video. Plz fix this problem ASAP.

    Thank you.

  • @CECEngineer1337 I wish I could hide the comments so I wouldn't have to see you people make shitty comments.

  • @ChuckxBartowski that's too bad, huh ;)?

  • @CECEngineer1337 It really is, I hate autistic commenters.

  • @CECEngineer1337 Not everyone is a mindless junkie sheep. Smart people know that the Beatles are terribly overrated.

  • @ThatwasTERRIBLE To admire and respect a legendary band is not being a "mindless junkie sheep". If you were half the smart you claim to be, you would not be trolling around without baseless arguments. Now, do a favor to us all and go back to your little hole, son.

  • Been a Beatles fan since I first saw them in Hamburg in 1961 (I was 11) and I'll be one untill they shove me under the turf!!!!

  • Sooo, who's ur favourite Beatle, lol

  • holly shit

  • what is the name of the third song? (Paul starts singing this song)

  • @israelmanda1 its called "I'm Down"

  • is it all?i thought they would sing more songs!

  • @ILikeRetro no they sing more songs. im sure. i think ths is just a part of the entire show.

  • Good that they go to USA,,,, so they dont have to play for a few people under shady lights in UK,,,, U.S.A - land of oportunities !!!! Great old videos.

  • 1:10 i thought that was elvis went all out

  • it's been 50 yrs. and they're still going strong. They are great. They are spectacular. They are talented. They are so much better than singers nowadays. The Beatles will last to the end of time. They are # 1.

  • this brings tears to my eyes, it's been 50yrs. and they're still going strong. I honestly wish singers nowadays could realize just how little they are compared to The Beatles. The Beatles will last forever.

  • ''as long as they keep playing they'll last'' i dont think so, its 2011 and they didnt last yet <3

  • 4:38

    she's cute

  • @SHEMEANzEVRyTHANG2ME yea she is

  • @crustlessraptor49

    Hey she's mine.

  • @SHEMEANzEVRyTHANG2ME ill race you to her retirment home.

  • @crustlessraptor49

Dont know if thats too late or not ...

  • Sure, since 1965 there were bigger concerts..but what Surfyngirl lists below were later and larger venues...(not 1965) Secondly, they could not hear what they were doing because of the screams and still they were note perfect and totally in sync without any of today's technology and flash and dazzle. Also for security reasons, they didn't let fans on the field (which would have sold more tickets). Even Garth Brooks says it was the most amazing concert

  • Haha 7:30 now thats having fun!

  • I have a problem with people going crazy over other people. Yeah, the Beatles are amazing, but i'm not going to go crazy for them. Eh, what can you expect from humans?

  • They sold out a baseball stadium. That is incredibly amazing. I'd go back in time just to see this show.

  • What's this band called... they're pretty good. :)

  • has there been any other concert that filled a baseball stadium? (not trying to be a smart ass, it's a serious question)

  • @Cameron4963 maybe, but i seriously doubt it. incredible wasnt it.

  • @Cameron4963 - Shea Stadium was a record 55,600 Fans. From wikiAnswers. Minus festivals & multi-artist gatherings, these are outdoors, but a bit larger. I am sure there are more, arguably, but these were verified by Guinness.

Rod Stewart Copacabana Beach 3.5 mil

Rolling Stones Feb 2006 Copacabana Beach 1.5 mil

Garth Brooks in Central Park 980,000

New York Philharmonic in Central Park 800,000

Simon & Garfunkel in Central Park 500,000

Genesis The Tour in Rome- 500,000

    That was fun. ;)

  • 80 people won't last forever. Not even close.

  • @theguy186 to be honest there's a lot of errors in what you're saying, but all i'm going to say is i'm unaware of whether john lennon ever specifically said he had a 'hatred towards god' but if he did or if you have derived that from something he said, it doesn't mean he automatically worships satan. you talk as if it has to be one or the other, it's possible he didn't fucking worship anyone. grow up bro.

  • Fantastic*****

  • Il più grande concerto di tutti i tempi!

  • so back in the day, the girls screamed instead of listening and enjoying? :p

  • 9:45 - the same things are hapening today, but with diffirent reasons and targets (Egyt, Libya...)

  • These guys remind me of The Beatles, a Liverpool group from the sixties.

  • @HaabenHooben wow! these are the beatles. I have 9 Cds by these guys and a replaca of the bass guitar

  • John Lennon looks great on the keyboard as well as he plays his ricken.

I miss the smile you made John

  • What I wouldn't do to have that bass

  • Your grandmother was hot

  • Oh how I wish I could have been there!! Just a bit before my time though.

  • John was better on keyboards than on guitar!

  • There were actually two Beatles concerts at Shea Stadium. The first in 1965, I was 1 years old, the second in 1966. The second one was not sold out. When I was a kid ,my accross the street neighbor had told that as a teenager she went to the concerts and showed me ticket stubs. She said it was great but she heard abssolutly nothing except for everyone screaming for 45 minutes, That is how long they were on stage for.

  • i doubt the audiences could hear the music well

  • @theguy186 your mind is clear and sharp? is it really? your comment is so stupid and so ignorant that i cannot even wrap my mind around it. it is so baffling to me that im almost convinced you're joking. you are an absolute fool. i'd hate to see what you listen to.

  • @koonits He listens to Avril Lavigne, scroll down and you'll see. What an idiot this person is.

  • this is scary. lol. all that noise. wonder if the audience really heard the music.

  • paul looks tired and totally wasted, but sings so good, nevertheless!!!!!! love u paul!!!

  • @icelfulleros he was tired yeah, but not wasted. Their schedule was too grueling to 'get wasted'. They had to do everything themselves, packing their own bags, etc....

There was no time to get wasted back then. That came later. That's why they were so good back then.

  • @LennonMeringuePie Hmm, yeah I agree, they perform really good back then, voices are great.

  • Sure, it's good music and all, but I can never really fathom how the whole world tuned in to this and thought they were so great they creamed themselves. I just don't get it.

  • @inamamani I got, and I am a straight male.

  • is anyone else just drooling over George at the moment? please tell me i'm not the only one....

  • so many screaming girls.

  • Brian Epstein passing away was the death of the Beatles. If they had concentrated more on the music instead of dumb business deals, the world would've had more superb albums. RIP John, George and Brian.

  • The Beatles were Satan worshiping communists, drug users, contributed money from drug rings to support and pay for war and allowed the music business to rape and destroy honest musicians. They were disgusting pigs and thankfully they are half dead. Let's wait for Paul the wife beater to die next and the the world's crappiest drummer.

  • @theguy186 Satan worshipers? Now there's a new one! Think i've read most literature on this band and it's one person on Youtube who's informed me of this. Yeah they were drug users but who wasn't in the 60's? They were way ahead of their time as musicians and songwriters and the world should be grateful that they shared their talent!

  • @MARTYCLFC They were absolutely Satanists and Lennon spoke of his hatred toward God repeatedly. There are several billion people on Earth and the fact is, most people do not do drugs. The 60's was no different only people decided to be more open about their drug use. That just simply resulted in more people going to prison and tighter laws. Kind of... idiotic. The Beatles used money that kids gave them and used it to buy drugs. How pathetic and criminal. And you thank them for it? Moron.
