Well done! I found this very much hilarious! However, Being a young tea drinker, I can't say I've had much practice in taking time over what to have XD A normal cup, a Twinings tea bag, semi-skimmed milk and some sugar is all I need to set me on my way.
Jeremy ! This is def the worst impression of Adolf Hitler I have ever seen. Plus the cardboard cut out of a kitchen front is fooling no-one...get a grip !
this should help me alot i wasn't even close with making it correctly, sadly i can't get the teabags you're using or loose leaves, i live in a small backwater town in the USA :\
I thought this was a delightfully pedantic, condescending example of British iconoclast behavior. Very "Jimmy Carr", straight faced delivery. Bravo! Brilliant! I'm laughing conservatively on the inside. Cautiously, lest I laugh out loud and draw attention.
@kickinbackinOC - finally, someone who understands...yes its suppose to be an informative video but what informative videos are fun...how can you take any of them seriously...
i really hope people dont think i spend all my day thinking about tea, what cup a should use, hours spent at the supermarket choosing the correct milk - that would just be crazy...
in truth, i boil the kettle, chuck a tea bag in a random cup, put in the sugar an milk, pour the water, stir and drink...simple
@technoshitor - sorry i dont understand your comment - are you trying to judge the house (which is actually a 400year old apartment conversion that is rented) based on a small proportion of the kitchen...your a clever one
@girlytubegirl - very good questions...it is possible to use all those kinds of milk you mentioned...
but in england we typically have 3 kinds of milk - Whole milk (or full fat - usually blue container), Semi skimmed which is a little watered down (or half fat - usually green container) and then skimmed milk which is the very water down milk and usually drank by people counting calories and trying to lose weight - this comes in a red container...i hope this helps and happy tea making
Lol I guess this is informative but this is taken SO seriously. Come on, it's only making a cup of tea!! I guess there are the morons out there who don't know how to make a cup of tea but you're like.... in a suit and this is a 6 minute video... on making tea. Boiling water, good brand of tea, some sugar, some milk= all you need to know about making a good cup of tea.
@MrMusicJosh - you will be surprised how many people out their can't make a good cup of tea and also how many times i get asked with me being british and all
This is in the 'How To" section...and my account is not a comedy one...maybe (in the nicest way possible) you need to learn how to read and use the internet
although i watch charlie's videos i did not copy him...there are many making tea videos out there and i wanted to do my own...especially when a low of them are so bad...on top of that i want to do another how to video like my HD one...also this was going to be a series but ive been too busy
I can't help feeling the guy in the video is sort of mocking his audience.

So biscuits are the British equivalent of a cookie, correct? I would not attempt such advanced maneuvers without such confirmation.

This is a coffee cup. You would use this to drink your tea if you are a complete twit.

Well loose tea is not ' outdated' many people still prefer loose tea over tea bags and loose tea is a bit cheaper than same quality tea in bags .

So my question: What is "semi-skimmed" milk?? In American are main milk options are, whole, 2%,1%, or skim.... so should we use 2%???
