Tour de France crash into barbed wire fence 2011 Stage 9

I've done plenty of wipe-outs in 20 years of racing/riding: asphalt, grass shoulder, speed bump, aggregate (that was the worst), trail (dirt), even planted after running over a cat -- basically the whole kitty and kaboodle (lol!). I haven't done barbed wire fence as yet though. Hmmmm....I'm thinking I'll give that one a miss.

What a shame. To bust your balls in the Tour De France, climbing mountains and all, only to be shoved into a barbed wire fence by some driver who ought to consider themself lucky to have the privilege to drive alongside these incredible human machines.
