This was an AMAZING BEAST!!!! We have his Grandson Sky Millenium. His Great Grandson Southern Sky ("LIL MAN") was put down this week. My heart is completely out of my chest. I had to watch this video to keep the will to keep going. We still have a few with this bloodline but He was my little brother. This horse saved my life against a charging mare once. This is the same mare that broke in on him and broke his pelvis. I will see you on the other side Little brother.

Amazing horse. I saw him later that same year at the American Royal. Took my breath away (along with every other person in the arena... the entire place was dead silent when he came into the ring... soon followed by the loudest explosion of cheering I have ever heard). Still can make me choke up at the sight of such an amazing horse.... not to take anything away from Imperator. Also truly amazing!

I don't attend many ASB shows, as there are none around where I am, but from what I've seen on video I don't think any horse since has out performed Skywatch. Can a trot or rack get any more perfect? :)

I was there for all of them when Mitch rode him. Much respect to the challanger, but you don't want to cut through the ring to take this one on. The greatest gaited horse ever and to Mitchell Clark, thank you so much!

He was a wonderful horse to watch. I remember seeing him here, and shows too. Mitch would hold him back from entering the ring until they were threatening to close the gates and then here he would come sweeping through the in gate like a freight train.

The crowd would just go wild. When you had Skywatch, Imperator and French Commander in the ring, you had a battle. Just the stuff dreams are made of.

I had the good fortune of watching those competitions live, the thrill never leaves. Saddlebreds are such athletic horses and to watch SkyWatch perform emphasizes that fact. We own a grandson who's athletic abilities went a different direction than the show ring. Our boy loves to jump and loves cross country eventing. Like his grandfather he is bold and beautiful. He'll take any jump at any angle with the same enthusiasm I saw in his grandfather's eyes while in the show ring. LOVE'EM BOTH

Greatest show horse to ever hit the tanbark. We haven't seen one as good since and probably never will in my opinion.
