I personally evaluate the interest accrued in my bank account every 6 months. N put it in the Chanda box at the desi restaurant or where ever...even though mufti says it's ok to keep I'm a lil scared abt keeping it

So if i take GICs or other certificates from a bank, or if i buy govnt bonds, intending to be rewarded with money but NOT as interest, it is halal? from what i understood , yes.
