Nice technique . when I make songs I usually don't record much but my vocals & sometimes piano, but I use my video camera microphone because it's HD .
@MisterBankz thanks! yea this is an older video so I now record a little differently. now I use a rock band mic cause its the best I have. lol I suck at singing so I don't do much singing, but when I do sing, I use my video camera microphone too since it is HD too! works perfect!
to record my stuff with Mark. he uses Mixcraft and we do it step by step. its really cool and easy.
and for The Skankboarders, we just get a USB mic and plug it in and hit record and play all at once. (thats why it kinda turns out crappy) haha! cool video!
haha thanks! they are fun to do. believe it or not ive wanted to make this video since i was in 9th grade. im happy i am doing it now because back then everything was different.
That's really neat that you've been wanting to do this for so long and finally got the chance! And I think you're right- doing something like this had to take time, for you to gain experience and get things down just right, before putting it all into a vid!
This is an awesome video! extremley helpful.. its put into terms i can understand, with all basic and cheap gear! i will have to try this!
You are an extrodinarily talented guy! this video has no where near enough likes or views.Your songs are awesome.

Hey isn't that a Creative MuVo MP3? I have the same one. :)
I use a software called 'Audacity' to record and edit. Its EXTREMELY simple to use.
Great video, helps people (who aren't rich :P ) a lot. And its pretty appreciable that you're replying to all those comments too.
