this was one of the worst ever...even as a kid i wondered if this was shipped unfinished......it sucked...real bad!!!!! good vid though...I liked to watch some one else finish it like i did back then...i just guessed about the staff and down the dragon went....

It's actually one of the worst games on the NES. It's poor quality is infamous. Great books, though.

Where did LOTR come from? It's an overrated rambling session with a storyline in there somewhere. The fellowship is walking, and walking, and walking, and walking, and walking, until they come across a rock. Tolkein then goes out of his way to describe the rock for three pages, and how it was there fcor some stupid battle or character that is totally ineffectual to the story at hand!

In my opinion, The Lord of the Rings is the greatest masterpiece ever. Harry Potter is also great. I never read the Dragon Lance books but I play Dongeon and Dragon and it's awesome. By the way this game seems awesome but the final boss is weak :O

Well, it seems easy but only if you read the books of Dragonlance. Khisanth (the Black Dragon) is invincible against all weapons or magics... The only weapon that can hurt it (and killing it in one shot) is Goldmoon's blue crystal stick but in this game, no clue about the way for beating it... And trust me, the game itself is very hard, like every Advanced Dungeons and Dragons on NES.

Actually, that's how you kill it. Throw the blue crystal staff at it and it dies in one hit.
