i have some question.... how do u re adjust the bvh position to make the character as if he's standing on a plane? All i got is he's somewhere in the air, when i readjust the position at the 1st frame onto the plane, he's teleporting to the air at the next frame??
nice, but i thought of using ik solver for arms & foot, and only add constraint by copy both loc and rot for the spine(or hips)... and it looks perfect!
Why oh why doesnt blender just fit the .bvh in an armature like with the bipeds with 3dsmax
or something
it's really annoying to first of all do this for the first time and second if you want to do mocap with the model more often you need to do it everytime
it's a good mocap file , not too trembling/shaky/skating. i opened blender yesterday and tried ambient-occlusion baking, it worked well. i may use this improve the textures of objects and characters in daz studio
what software did you use to do motion capture?

@linkanparkfan it was from a website, a free bvh file repository. i should've provided a link...

Has anyone tried Mixamo. I was using the Carnegie Mellon mocap that was a pain. Just wanted to see if anyone thought Mixamo was worth using.

That 3d model is flamboyantly gay. He is the first 3d model to be officially certified as a homosexual.

What is BVH? What can I do to get my stuff into a BVH format?

It helps to import it as an armature and empties, that way you can see the shape of the body easier and work off of there.
