  • Has anyone tried Mixamo. I was using the Carnegie Mellon mocap that was a pain. Just wanted to see if anyone thought Mixamo was worth using.

  • What is BVH? What can I do to get my stuff into a BVH format?

  • It helps to import it as an armature and empties, that way you can see the shape of the body easier and work off of there.

  • i have some question.... how do u re adjust the bvh position to make the character as if he's standing on a plane? All i got is he's somewhere in the air, when i readjust the position at the 1st frame onto the plane, he's teleporting to the air at the next frame??

  • nice, but i thought of using ik solver for arms & foot, and only add constraint by copy both loc and rot for the spine(or hips)... and it looks perfect!

  • i've got a big problem with this: when i copy locations, some parts don't get copied (for example the feet). how can i fix this?

  • it's a good mocap file , not too trembling/shaky/skating. i opened blender yesterday and tried ambient-occlusion baking, it worked well. i may use this improve the textures of objects and characters in daz studio

  • it seems blender isn't very good at importing bvh at the moment. this is the simplest method i've found...

  • is there a way perhaps you could show me how to do this on cinema 4d? no tutorials out there so i would be greatful thank you
