@1990forever69 I've been a fan of Modest Mouse my whole life, and have met a great deal of their fanbase. Most of them actually aren't the "hipsters" you're describing. Isaac Brock (who I've met in person) is a great guy, incredibly modest, and not a douche bag or a hypocrite in the least. And I like the Dead, but I agree 100% with his statement. I tend to hate the fanbase because they tend to be slobs who completely trash the cities they go to (which is why I hate hippies in general)

Well stated Isaac! The music is okay, but entirally overrated, same deal with "Phish." From my experience, these "dead head" fans are a bunch of over priviledged douche bags, typcially conceited, mean, theywould spend hours pompassly debating Grateful dead play lists, what set was played back in 1982, how it changed at the next show, all the while pitching acid-power trips. My theory, the lot of them never had real jobs or hardships to relate to, spoiled rotten, lazy, dirty and useless.
