  • Usually i dont feed a violinist's ego... but in these case, I can make an exception.

  • This sh** is bad... and I mean bad, as in "good/cool", etc. (lol)

  • i love the song .. =)) nice keep it up thanks for sharing =)

  • WoooooW <33

  • OMG!! Musical orgasm

  • also listen to the SHANGHAI QUARTET version (:

  • How wonderfully they play. This is "live" let us not forget! I have the Qt. Italiano on c.d. but I prefer this reading marginally.

  • @nog55 they certainly look as though they know what they are doing. A lot of quartets playing Beethoven look worried or snowed under by the music they are playing [trying to play]. Don't get me wrong, I love quartets, particularly Beethovens late ones and the Mozart ones, k428 especially played by the Franz Schubert String Quartet. These guys are good.

  • @bertubus Yes they were good, imagine my frustration at having finally being able to get a ticket to see them at the Wigmore Hall (25 yrs. or so ago)only to find on arrival that they had to cancel due to illness!!! Never had the chance again, v. annoying. I'll have a listen to k.428 with the FSS with interest after your recommendation.

  • beautifulyy done;D

  • This movement never fails to put a smile on my face, it's brimming with energy.

  • Heider (Gestapo-chef untill 1942.) used to play those quartets with his colleagues in the hard day's nigths.

How is it possible, you 'll ask? well, it is ...

  • assolutamente sublime

  • thx, I'll look for it, they're rly good, heard them live too, but with shostakovich...

  • wonderfull. It sounds like the arie of the papageno and the papagena.

  • Although this is very good, the Shanghai Quartets version of this is in my opinion much better. Their color changes are far superior.

  • nobody does it better for beethoven string quartetts than ABQ, this opening allegro con brio is a soft, kind and graceful page,it´s a remarkable beggining for tha last quartett of this series, long live ludwig van

  • that cellist goes to town at 3:18... WOW

  • How about the cello at the :19 second mark? Great cello lick........

  • Sublime Movement!!!! What less can one say....but Magnificent.......

  • re-LOL ! #___-

  • If you wanna be a violinist in this group, you must have a beard longer than 6 inches

  • Ha! Ha! Very true. :P

  • lol!

  • jeez people dont mark this as a bad comment, its just a joke! and you wonder why people think classical musicians are so stiff and serious....

  • This is one beethoven's better string quartets.

  • OMG i'm playing this!!!! OMG OMG OMG LOL

  • jeez why did people mark this?? whats so bad about saying you played this?!jeez

  • i agree. i dont understand why good/neutral comments get thumbs down sometimes...

  • This movement is supposed to sound bright and cheerful. It's played faster than I prefer, but that's the musicians' privilege.

  • does the 1st violin have to tune his violin higher for this piece? it sounds so dang bright =/, but thats a good thing :]

  • this is my favorite movment

  • cool!!! i loved it. it was awsome. i m gonna play the violin like that one day. oh wait, i already do. (im 12)

  • don't be so cocky

  • Bit full of yourself aren't you?

  • He was just making a joke.

  • i love those beethoven quartets.. i love beethoven.. its the first time i see this quartetes performed in live... awesome
