After several discarded recordings, I've managed to get my thoughts together, and sent my video for 'In Your Words 2' and awaited it in great anticipation. It was very emotional for me, when I saw myself talking to the masses via the TTA. The icing on the cake for me was, that I have had the final words. Thank you Seth!

I am a 27/m/uk. I have been sick since about 19 and am now disabled with pain 24/7. My life is hard. I feel i'm coming close to my limit tho I love life. i love our planet.I love people but we are the best and worst thing on this planet.Being ill can send you in different ways. For the record, I am a Christian. For me personally, it's more about understanding the human condition. I realize that Christianity is a faith based value system and not everyone is going to share those beliefs. I rather embrace the individual first. The emphasis should be human planning. We have all the necessary elements to successfully survive, regardless of our beliefs. I've had great conversations with atheists and challenged to examine my own beliefs and adjust them as needed.

My mother is Christian and the rest of my family is except my older sister who is pagan. I get in arguments all the time. I asked my little why she believe in god and she said "Albert Einstein does, so someone as smart as him is right." Which, Einstein was a different form of a Jewish religion not Christianity.

Is it someone who's always been an atheist, and was never religious at any time in their life (which would describe me), or someone who came to their conclusions completely independently, without ever having anyone else explain their reasons (which would also describe me).

Those with an understanding of the biological mechanisms of diversity don't "believe in" evolution in the same sense that you're using to make it sound like a faith-based religious proposition. They accept it due to the empirical evidence proving it to be factually true, and the predictive power of the theory when tested experimentally to reliably and repeatably verify its correctness.

I don't have a webcam. I make video's in another way. I don't need my face to be know, or my voice to be heard. But if you want, I do have an opinion, reasons, questions, words. You may want this to be about real people, but I fail to see what eyes, faces and voices have to do with all that. It's about people's opinions, or "their own words" what counts. Why does it have to be based on faces and voices, and why only a few minutes?

So many people making logical arguments against religion, yet somehow, they all used to be Christian. Wouldn't it be nice to have another point of view? I've seen the one Judaism-related video from The Thinking Atheist. It was great because I was able to relate exactly to what the video was saying, remembering all the stupid things I was taught at Hebrew School. My family became increasingly non-religious and the holidays became meaningless. Anyone out there like me?

Participating in the first In Your Words video was one of the coolest things I've ever done on YouTube. It prompted me to get my story out, and it gave me an audience for that story. I won't say it changed my life, but it did give me a brighter outlook knowing I wasn't alone. Thanks, Seth, for giving me the opportunity to speak up.

I prefer to look at the book through the critical eye of a historian and realize that they are embilished histories steeped in archaic mythologies from the Sumerian culture, amoung others, then give them the credit they are due, no more no less...which is to say the bible is a mildly interesting yet poorly written epic that people have taken WAY to far
