@ShadowHunter31 DC's Magician was Zatarra and he is dead. Mandrake was in Gold key comics I think. Mandrake was a was a hypnotist so Miracle man could take him on or Ring Master, or Master Mind, Etc. Mandrakk was feeding on the whole stories of DC and he was even feeding on the Presence. @hydrolito Eclipso was able to mess with the Spectre kid. Enought to make him kill Shazam, Doctor Fate, beat Magic powered Captain Marvel and kill Nabu. THE ONLY person that stopped him was the Presence who called him back. So yes, Eclipso can be really powerful. It just depends how he uses his powers. The guy was part of the Presence before, as much as the Spectre is. By the way, The Spectre can be as powerful as the Living Tribunal too. Just depends how the Presence wants him powerful.

Insane Hulk? It's supposed to be a name? It's DoomsDay. Do you even know who DoomsDay is? Hulk might be stronger but each time Hulk will kill DoomsDay, he'll come back stronger. Let me give you an exemple.
Superman kill Doomsday with Gree Kryptonite. At first, it's hurting him. He die. Five hours later, he comes back and the Kryptonite is no more hurting him. He's immortal and each time he dies, he comes back stronger. Hulk wouldn't be able to kill him since he doesn't have any magic powers.

Both Big Name Comic Companies Marvel and DC have silly characters that's the point. The major rogues are minacious threats where as the minor rogues are meant to be lame, and crappy.
Also Mad Hatter was no Joke in Secret Six making Gotham PD his own personal army using mind control devices. Easy to make him a Joke because writers don't respect, and make out to be a chump. Gail Simone respects him so no surprise she managed to make a deadly threat.

@TBIES71 DC's characters are inconsistant as are Marvel's though I generally think DC is worse at it. Flash is suppose to be faster than speed of light but constantly gets hit by boomerangs, ice, heat ray, pearls, light blast, sound, regular guy's fist, green Arrow's arrow, etc. pretty slow for a guy who's suppose to be so fast. Then after they beat him insteads of just killing him they tie him to giant boomerang and launch into the sky or put him in video game or other lame things.

Mageddon is as heavy as Jupiter (40 times bigger then Earth). Did he do that kind of feat again? Yes. He lifted a black hole, moved a growing solar system, lift a book with infinite pages, slow down the Spectre's fall (The Spectre is as heavy as Eternity), moved the Earth when The Starbreaker was moving in the opposite way, etc.
