Remember when WWE was interesting? When it had all out brawls that ended in shock and blood? Remember when you sat on the edge of your seat, jumping up and down after your favorite superstar/diva won? Remember cussing out comercials because you wanted to see the rest of the show? This promo. This fued. This period was when I was first watching wrestling. This was bad ass moments. The stuff we have today is terrible compared to this phenominal rivalry between the brands.

I've read somewhere...the original plans were to bring eddie guerrero as world champion into this contest. batista was already injured and wasn't supposed to compete in here. then orton would fill batistas spot and be still the last smackdown superstar remaining.

Idk about Orton but I read that it was supposed to be an Orton/Batista match at WM22 but instead since Batista was injured & Eddie died. They set up Rey to win.
