Yeah, a hoover I looked at a while ago had the canvas strap too, I might buy it but first there's a half of a dozen more that I have to look at!

Looks like the original canvas strap holding the bag, that's unusual...
About 5 of my cleaners have their canvas straps intact. It is rare to find them like that, but they do survive occasionally! The one on the 875 actually needs fixing. I know how to do this, so it isn't a problem.
