I agree. MW3 changed, but BF3 only got a new engine, that's it. I also noticed BF3 was copying the guns of COD and the map layout and voice textures. I noticed it in the trailers at first, then the game came out and I didn't want to play it because it was just like COD4 to me. And then DICE tried to HIDE it, but that didn't work after I looked into the software of BF3 and COD4. Same textures, voice settings, volume options, layouts, sequences, etc.
I saw a video of MW3 using a UAV mini chopper looking exactly like the UAV in BC2 and the parrot drone in Homefront. MW3's point streak similar to Medal of Honor's score chain. MW3's kill confirmed mode similar to Crysis 2 dog tag set up. Spec Ops survival similar to Treyarch's zombie mode. MW3 should've been the patch that MW2 needed. Instead we get the same game different name.

@3dunkin COD4 wasn't copying, in fact, it's not even close to BF. No offense, but you're wrong on whatever you're trying to express there. BF might've upgraded first, but the idea of modern weapons was in the heads of many gaming devolepers for years before BF started.

@PSYDEN159 Actually Battlefield came out before Call of Duty, it also has more games in the series compared to Call of Duty. Also the previous Battlefield games (Probably ahead of your time) sold millions of copies, they were actually quite popular and pretty fun! Also The start of Call of Duty was influenced by Battlefield 1943 so ehhh Call of Duty was kinda the "copier" in this situation or so I'm told.

I agree. MW3 changed, but BF3 only got a new engine, that's it. I also noticed BF3 was copying the guns of COD and the map layout and voice textures. I noticed it in the trailers at first, then the game came out and I didn't want to play it because it was just like COD4 to me. And then DICE tried to HIDE it, but that didn't work after I looked into the software of BF3 and COD4. Same textures, voice settings, volume options, layouts, sequences, etc.

I saw a video of MW3 using a UAV mini chopper looking exactly like the UAV in BC2 and the parrot drone in Homefront. MW3's point streak similar to Medal of Honor's score chain. MW3's kill confirmed mode similar to Crysis 2 dog tag set up. Spec Ops survival similar to Treyarch's zombie mode. MW3 should've been the patch that MW2 needed. Instead we get the same game different name.

For BF3 to win me over they only need to tweak their Squad Spawn. They should take hints from Halo Reach's Invasion game... require a squad member who is selected as a spawn point to get a message informing them to fall back to a safer zone before allowing any team members to re-spawn.
