Is it me or do parts of this song sound a little like 'FreeBird' by Lynyrd Skynyrd

It's definitely not you! I was listening to this song and thinking "Hey, this sounds just like a Lynyrd Skynyrd song," but I couldn't quite put my finger on it because I don't listen to a lot of Lynyrd Skynyrd, and then I decided to play it on guitar, and I realized that the last line of the verse, the one that goes "depending on what we should be" has the exact same chord progression (F C D) as "would you still remember me?" part of Free Bird.
