I regularly dined at Chez Nico in the early nineties, as well as Harveys in the late eighties. Both MPW and Nico were very hospitable, and their cooking was miles better than the dross trotted out by Ramsay in Chelsea these days.
@rogermell1e - Yes, that is the truth! For all the hoopla about Ramsay, I haven't tasted anything from his restaurants that were up to the standards of these older establishments.

Watching this show really feels like I've been transported to a different time and place. The music is awesome too, and love the grainy footage.

Being all of 24 i really do wish i was born in the era of harveys and nico .. really saddens me that we aint.
