  • I think it's Sarah Chang.

Sarah has different weight than Perlman does at the end and slightly different bowing style. She presses are the fingerboard harder than Perlman

  • It is one hundred percent Sarah Chang. I know her recording well.

  • Someone learned in Julliard school ples contact me cuz i want to know somethings about that school. I want learn in there in future. Thank you :)

  • it's definately Sarah's playing...

  • Ahh...TOO BRIEF !...and where is the INTERVIEW ?!...:-)

  • What`s the piece that`s being played throughout the video?

  • Henri Vieuxtemps violin concerto no1

  • No, it was the 3rd movement of Vieuxtemps violin concerto no. 5.

  • LOL

I had the score for the first concerto on my table right in front of me.. xD i blame that for the typo i made haha

  • jepdez,

yes, i have come to know this after uploading the film. i was going by the information i had on the recording, but obviously should have fact-checked it first.

  • was the soloist Sarah Chang?

  • Well I guess I can't say with 100% certainty but I've listened to the Sarah Chang so many times now and I'm 99% certain it is hers. Fantastic recording!

  • Sorry to bust you guys boxes, but that is Perlman playing!!!

  • How, exactly, did you come to that conclusion? And what does it mean to bust one's box?

  • nope...definitely Sarah Chang

  • Nope! this is Sarah's recording

  • Yes, it is her Vieuxtemps 5 last movement.

  • That was not conducted by Vieuxtemps

  • @jepdez

No...that would be a big story.

  • Philadelphia orchestra conducted by...Henry Vieuxtemps. That is very good, really.

On the other hand, where is the Perlman interview?

  • thanks! the Perlman interview is at the end..there are several shots of him..as you can hear, i used the soundtrack as my audio
