For people that don't know, you can also just not suck at lock picking and buy a bunch of lock picks... it's not hard, although if you have beat the thieves guild on another character and don't care for the masters armour then just keep it. The Nighting gale armour is all that really matters :D

@johnmdaniels27 There is a perk, which makes your lockpicks indestructible... but why? lockpicking isn´t that hard and if you find a master lvl. and didn´t skill it, you can save the game and look how much you need for it. There were times when I didn´t figure it out and lost 20 of picks on one lock, but still I got so many, without even buying any of them. (I admit I bought some of them, but that was early in the game...)

@Kennat8or As the questline goes on you use it to open or seal some gate, can´t remember it anymore. So if you want to become master of the thieves guild you will only have this thing temporarily. And by all means picking locks doesn´t aquire any skill in Skyrim. I don´t skill the tree (there exists a perk, which makes your lockpicks indestructible) and I still got over 200 of these thingies and I don´t buy any of them.
