  • thank you so much, jg

  • as good as it gets

  • I just "die" inside when I hear Timi sing!! The voice, her look, her sweetness is so beyond any singer of our time!! God we miss you Timi!

  • NO ONE LIKE HER, IS THERE!

    NEVER FORGOTTEN

  • Tears running down my face because this beautiufl souful lady is gone!

  • I don't think anyone else has ever done this song and with good reason. NOONE could ever do it justice. Timi had the greatest voice of my lifetime, and I'm 67.

  • This was always my favorite Timi Yuro song. It's crazy that this was never released as an A side. People are so retarded. Anyone can see this would have been a hit.

  • WHAT A VOICE.

    PRICELESS

  • I have been LOOKING 4 this Song by her 4 YEARS....MAN PEOPLE What a ICON,just SOUL THAN-Q & BIG LOVE 2 Timi

  • I played Timi Yuros songs over and over. I loved her voice, she was a real soul singer. She nev er got the recognition she so deserved. I was brought up listening to the music of another great singer, Kay Starr - the choice of my parents. Then along came Timi Yuro, my choice, and so far there has never been anyone to replace that deep soulful gutsy voice, and I do not think there ever will be.

  • @IsabelTopTenClub21 Hi, you said a mouth full ! 11 *********** for Timi !

  • Suzi Quatro needs to re-make this song...

  • i agree starr522 spot on but i still think timi has the edge on the other 2

    regards ray

  • The big 3 of this era was of course Timi. Then Connie Francis and the great Brenda Lee.

  • never heard this before ,,great song ,,and of course,,you have timi singing ,,best combination in the world

  • never heard this before ,,great song ,,and of course,,you have timi singing ,,best combination in the world

  • this was one of the her best songs but this was only b side

  • this song was the flip side of what's a matter baby.......1962

  • Fantastic!

  • What a Voice this young Lady had. Just the best, Back and Beyond!

  • This is one of her very best, It takes me back at least 47 years. Timi has always been one of my favorites.

  • Timi Has a Cd out called "The Voice That Got Away". At the time she was discovered she was having to compete with the Shirells and all of the great musical artist from that era. Her managers and producers didn't know how to present her to the public, What a loss from the early years of "Rock & Roll" that couldn't figure out what to do with her amazing talent. But at least do to YouYube we can all Enjoy the talent she brought to this World.

  • @mltw1371

    ditto on timi :)

  • Wow! I haven't heard this song in over 40 years, a buddy and I used to play it in Korea in 1963-64, thanks for posting, in my favorites now.

  • How did she escape legendary status? She's amazing, such power in her voice.

  • She never escaped legendary status! She IS a Legend with a capital L. And she was quite a looker too! All around beauty. Que bella!

  • @debunks VUOI DIRE "CHE BELLA" MA SOPRATTUTTO BRAVA!!!!!

  • Wow, what a song! I never heard it before. I always loved Timi's music, the music I was aware of that is. I'll have to agree with khp1955 on the conclusion that she was not promoted very well....too bad. A very under-rated singer, as were many from this great era.

  • what a voice, this is a real tear jerker,i listened to her from the earley 60,s

  • I have to comment one more time. Timi must have had a terrible A&R department promoting her and the recordings she made. This song is more than spectacular. It should have been an "A" side and should have been one of the top songs the year it was released. She must have been too busy recording and performing to have noticed that this song was relegated to a "B" side or maybe (unfortunately) she didn't have any say as to which songs could be released or which side a song was assigned to. ???

  • Thank u I have Been a fan of Timi since 1968 when i my 1st record player and the Soul LP and the 45 of this

Some time in NOV 2008 Suzi Quatro played this track on her sat'day night show for me and she love it guys did u know Phil Spector did the final mix but did not get the credit for them as Clyde Otis Left Liberty and track was in Unfinished state

  • @kph1955 Hiya, I was lucky to meet Timi and talk to her. You are quite right, as she didn't get a say in what was to be released. There were several songs she wanted to go out as singles, but they usually put them on the B side. They should have listened to her

  • @dylandollyspud Too right, they should have listened to her. She knew what to sing and how to sing it. Well, it's too bad they were so rock-headed, but at least we can listen to her records that did get made.

P.S. — How lucky were you to get to meet and talk to the great Timi Yuro! I'm so envious!

  • Wow!!! This song should have been a top 5

  • Great song the 5*
