  • I am very proud of my people tonight. While the protests/assemblies may not be the most organized, the heart and soul of our people comming together to voice variant goals but yet all with the unified goal of the rights of the people and the fight against Oligarchy has given me the glimmer of hope that our people can be and are still the badass fighters that we once were against the tryanny of the powerful.

  • Repeating the speakers words is rather annoying. It sounds like no one can think for themselves....

  • @Hornadayfan they cant. How about union money out of government, they are just as involved at trying to get unfair advantages as corporations are.

  • It's wonderful to see people who think for themselves getting together and taking action. Some old friends and fellow activists live in Des Moines, so I had to check this out. We've worn ourselves out calling and writing congressmen and walking around Capitol Hill trying to talk with them but only a few listen. I'm returning to the DC occupation this weekend. It's the most democracy I've ever seen. It's helped me understand the thought (and patience) that went into framing the constitution.

  • @asynkronos so your definition of people who think for themselfs are those who toe the lines of the speaker and repeat everything they say. You people do not even understand the concept of thinking for yourself. No wonder you all come off as such morons. Of course the rest of us free thinkers see you for the communists you are. The repeating everything is a key give away. Total FN morons

  • I was there. It was marvelous to see democracy in direct action. Though slow going and often unfocused, the feeling of direct participation was still intense.

  • Keep it up, great work. These videos are very inspiring.

  • Keep it up, great work

  • Drill Now: Goldman Sachs, The Federal Reserve, and George Soros is the source

    google that.

  • and you occupiers think you are entitled to better jobs, lol. the fed reserve is being manipulated by your own people, look up george soros and obama. the occupiers are delusional and misguided. your own people are behind the federal reserve, george soros and obama.

  • a worker is entitled what the market will bear and an what an employer will pay. if it isnt enough, seek employment elsewhere, its called freedom of choice. you dont want to give money to wallstreet, then dont. most businesses are under the yoke of this overbearing government (hiring quotas, safety regs etc), epa regulations, health costs, litigation issues, and unions etc. no wonder jobs go over seas.

  • lol. $20 an hour wage working or not. Repeal NAFTA yet allow people to cross borders to work, amongst other demands. van jones is the father of this movement. he whines about social justice, another catchword of the marxist movement. do a google search on that and then some. see if you can define the redistribution of wealth.... ill just do it for ya, its socialism.

  • i got nothing from this

  • sounds like 500 people who want more entitlements. i dont know if they are even certain what their goals are, lol.

  • Wow, you got this all backwards, the only entitlement we are looking for is democracy. Since you aren't able to do a google search for this for some reason, here is a description of the goals of the movement from wiki.

The participants of the event are mainly protesting against social and economic inequality, corporate greed, and the influence of corporate money and lobbyists on government, among other concerns.

  • @warfrog3131 is wall street entitled to the fruits of american workers labor? is the federal reserve entitled to take the wealth the little people create via taxes, and usury? ps. please explain why conservatives will not demand that job creators hire more people. after all, even conservatives say we have a "right to work".
