single large Exh is rice and a flagto cops thatthe var is modded and why niot stop them & check it out nextthign they are lookign at tint & intakes & you are screwed.... duals kick ass i love the borla IS exh it was the best one avail but when i did my custom duals it was like night and day.... MUCH better sound better looking and totally different exh note... i freekin love it. check out "Raptor V supercharged" .....
@accessatl I want to put a dual borla on my IS. Just out of curiosity, how much was your exhaust system, and how much was it to cut the bumper/ labor for the system?
@ud0ntkn0w As far the cost of the system (two Borla mufflers and two Borla exhaust tips), they were roughly $130-165 a piece. They do not make an IS300 exhaust any longer, but you can buy the universal ones. Here are the part numbers, the lager on the passenger side and the smaller on the drivers side: Part #40651 = $129.99 13.25 long x 4 x 9.5 , #40657 = $164.99 14 long x 4.25 x 7.78......
@ud0ntkn0w ......The labor for the bumper cut was cheap, it was only $50.00 from a place called Hot Wheels in Atlanta. For the exhaust install, I paid $200.00 for G&S Muffler to remove the resonator and make all the piping for dual exhaust.
@accessatl the muffler shop made the piping themselves? Oh and did you do the whole exhaust or just the back end? and what's the difference between removing the resonator and not?
I apologize for the questioning, I'm still learning new things myself, and I want to make sure I do this right, since I just recently got my IS300. I dig the way yours came out
@Jlversace I actually purchased it from Borla. They stopped making IS300 mufflers so you will have to buy the Universal kits. They work the same. Just buy two Borla mufflers and exhaust tips, then find someone to weld it all together from the axle back. I used a Y pipe and took off the resonator. Good luck!
