what if i can't find the cd it came with?

I have like 7 videos ready but cant get the videos on my laptop... All I see is a USB with a check at the bottem part of the screen. Then I see is 'OPEN DEVICES AND PRINTER' and 'EJECT DVD RW DRIVE (D:)' HELP ME!!!!!!!!

I dont have like the usb cable that your using and my cam is hdr-cx130e so my usb cable is different and im using windows vista and every time i upload a video it says you need a supported file type so please help

@dulexo When you plug it in, does the sceen say "Connected. Do not unplug the USB cable. Do not turn off the power."? If so, click the "Start" button on the bottom left-hand corner of your computer and click "My Computer". Then, scroll to "Disks With Removable Storage" and click the drive where your USB is connected (most common is Drive: F). Hope this helps

@dulexo You have to plug it in, then once you've done that: Look at your camera and click USB connect on your LCD or other screen.

When you import, did you get date/time stamp import also or it's just video.

I want to transfer video with date/time stamp, so in future after 15 years I can see when it was filmed.

yea i have a handycam dvd301 and i plug the cord into the cam and the computer nothing shows up at all and i dindt get no cd with it i really need to get this stuff on windows movie maker or i'm going to fail my directing class
