  • 0 dislikes!! bonamassa rules!!

  • he may be young, but his soul and music he plays is older than him. he has mastered the art of playing his heart out and doing it well. ways to show all of them what you can do Jb.

  • I don't care what anyone says, the blues is very spiritual music cuz it comes from way down deep and it's about life! I FEEL it when Joe plays it! YA!!!

  • From 4:50 to about 5:45... amazing. Especially that bluesy chord at 5:16, those horns rule!

  • 0 dislikes ... finally youtubers are getting some sense

  • @boulhech I think half the time they do it just to piss off music lovers.

  • His guitar playing sounds like Jimmy Paige IN A WAY! Anyone agree?

  • How about a top 5 of Joe B songs:

    1. Slow Gin

    2. So Many Roads

    3. Last Kiss

    4. Stop

    5. Dust Bowl

  • @floydpink37 I would have to add the Ballad of John Henry, especially the version live at the Royal Albert Hall as another top song of his. Hope you don't mind.

  • a prodigy if there ever was one ..thanks for the quality upload ..play da Bluez !

  • He is an awesome performer. We saw him live and got to meet and greet also. He is a great guy. He is worth every penny seeing him perform live. Do it if you get a chance.

  • He was born to do this, not only is he an awesome guitarist but he has a great voice too. Was he meant to be the next Gary Moore....nah better!

  • It cant be just me but he looks incredibly similar to Mr. Smith off the Matrix in this concert, man he must be quick on the guitar!!! :)

  • Just saw him last night in Savannah Georgia. He was amazing.

  • Joe Bonamassa sucks

  • Wow, this guy can play fast AND with soul, that's such a rare thing to find. It makes me angry when people say " To be

A good guitarist, you have to play fast." In my opinion, that is not true, I mean if you can play fast, that's cool, but you have to play with soul to be a good guitarist in my opinion.

  • I have never seen a video with 100 likes and 0 dislikes.

This one's got nearly 400. Man, that shows a lot.

  • jesus that man can play the guitar.

  • AMAZING.... This song will make you cry ......even if you don't feel like crying.... I still get chills every time I listen to this song........... it a classic.......... "Stop" is another one that gets to me.......

  • DAME,this is a good sample of focus, drive, and determination, also,a good family support.WHAT HAPPEN TO THE YOUTH TODAY, I AM NOT CRITIC,ON ALL THE YOUTH, CAUSE I KNOW THAT THERE STILL A FEW,THAT HAS GOOD FAMILY,SYSTEM GOING ON! JOE TAKES THIS TO THE LIMIT-JUST CAN NOT WAIT TILL HE GETS TO HAWAII.

  • Father's day present this year...2 tickets to his concert at the State Theater in Minneapolis on October 25. I'm 54, and feel like I'm 8 again waiting for Christmas to get here. I think he is the best musical artist I've ever heard, starting from the time I began listening to my older brother's Beatle 45's in the mid 60's.

  • This guy is the real deal.

  • Um....

  • Absolutely, Freakin, Awesome!!!!

  • does anyone know who originally wrote this song?

  • @Drudgeful I think Otis Rush wrote this song. Cheers.

  • I cant believe this hasnt been seen but only 90,000 times. Just goes to show mainly teens, kids and young adults listen to crappy Rap that talks about the same thing in every song, stupid so called "Punk pop boy bands" and terrible Rock. What happened to Hip-hop, what happened to Punk what happened to Rock AND Roll. Smh

  • @Unklruku What I cant believe is that only three hundred or so feedbaks move over all legends this one is the new phenom

  • A guitarra na mão desse cara fala.

    Toca muito!!!

    Valeu pelo vídeo.

  • Kudos to the two guys playing the two drums sets. Two sets of drums being played at exactly the same time. Nice!

  • great stuff

  • I'd rather have the talent than the fame. That way you could listen to yourself all day.

  • Goosebumps immediately upon listening to this!! Holy friggin crap this is amazing.

  • Awards are based on sales period, unfortunately us baby boomers make up less then 1% of the overall purchasing of music. The 14-18 year old buys more music then any other group. I wasn't much different 40 years ago when we were buying Led Zep, Jimmie H, Cream etc and propelling the sales thereby creating the popularity. I agree that JB is the most refreshing breath of fresh air I've experienced in the last 35 years, simply great!!!

  • @JBALLSALOT Could not of said it any better.

  • Along those lines, why is he not more publicized? I love Clapton, but this guy is extremely awesome and talented. He is more "undercovered" then Clapton. Why is that? We need more tours in the USA, not /England. He is the best of the best. !!!!!!!!!!Bieber is not talented. Joe should get mote than one Grammy. He isn't even nominated. Why is he so undiscovered? I am 61 and just heard about him last year. he is so awesome. Blows them all away as far as I am concerned. Can't get enough.

  • Along those lines, why is he not more publicized? I love Clapton, but this guy is extremely awesome and talented. He is more "undercovered" then Clapton. Why is that? We need more tours in the USA, not /England. He is the best of the best. !!!!!!!!!!

  • Unusually for this type of number, he plays it note for note the same every time. I can see why, it's an amazing version, but unusual all the same.

  • going to see him live in albany, ny 9th november.. cant wait...

  • @chico5614

Well, they know about him in Europe. In the USA, unfortunately it's become increasingly about mediocrity. @rsbmwrider, Joe should have had several Grammy awards by now. It's unbelievable, he's been around for some time and people still don't about him.

  • I am 55 years old and just found this guy about 3 weeks ago. He is just blowing me away! Nobody has anything on Joe, what a talent! Please tell me this guy is still touring!!

  • Looks like a Matrix guy...he sure as hell can pull it off too. awesome guitarest, just seen him tonight on tv, me and my dad are planning on seeing him hopefully, this guy might bring me into the blues. awesome sound, love it.

  • Bieber is a little queer, gaga is a tramp....they are popular because the execs are making the cash off them...

  • can u say WALE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • That is as fine a piece of music as I have ever heard. Has everything. And SUCH a nice young guy (how annoying can you get??? :-))

  • I've been listening to Joe for over 58 years, sounds as fresh as then, Go Joe!

  • He should get hooked on ebonics those are not the right lyrics. I guess if you can't figure them out make them up. The song is about a streamline train not a streetlight.

  • i am 14 years old been listening to him since i was 11 and i love his music. every other 14 year old kid at my school would be listening to modern hip hop shit but listen to rock and blues.

  • @cuber03 oh shut up i swear im the only young kid who listens to actually music, and is actually modest about it.

  • @cuber03 Good for you kid. I suggest you go buy as many Rory Gallagher records as you can find.

  • @cuber03 Good for you! This, Joe and the guys he grew up listening to, are the base of it all. Passion and emotion. Glad to see you embrace it

  • This is Music. This is power. This grabs you from deep inside you chest and squeezes your heart in it's fist. If you can't feel it, you're dead already

  • @cuber03 OMG same everyone pays me out cause i have bonamassa, clapton and all them on my ipod

  • @cuber03

<---- same, but im 18 now and im listening to him since i was 12 and my first concert of him was the most amazing day in my life...!

    Love him

  • @cuber03 they listen what they want... you need to respect their tastes, you cannot call "shit" another type of music

  • @olivierjaquet yeah your right, but i hate how every one has to listen to what ever there friends are listening to or they just try to fit in, because if your a kid and listen to any music thats not hip hop or techno people have to bag you because you listen something thats different, no wait i change my mind fuck those dickheads who like techno and hip hop they say this is shit so fuck them.

  • @cuber03 awesome man! i'm 17 and i have been listening to rock/blues since i could remember!

  • @cuber03 same here!

  • @cuber03 Finally a kid that like him ive been listening to him scince i was 10 im 15 now hes my idol

  • Every note is so perfect. I don't know about technically but joe, and Buddy Guy in my opinion have the best style and feel of the guitar of anyone alive.

  • i don't want a real Job too

  • oh my fucking god this is seriously amazing, joe never ceases to amaze me.

  • Wish I could produce that sort of guitar tone.

  • I am ashamed to say I never heard of Joe until about a week ago. I am in awe!

  • his way of playing is fascinating!

  • damn...... just damn...

  • So good live on Royal Albert Hall! Fantastic as always.

  • Why is allmost everybody talking about Clapton, Hendrix and Page ?? What about Rory Gallagher ?? Hendrix once was asked by an Journalist how it feels to be the Worlds Best guitarplayer, and Hendrix answerd " I dont know, You have to ask Rory Gallagher" ! Sorry, J. B. is of course also an excellent Guitarplayer , sure on of the Best we have at this time, he is Awesome.

  • His voice is to soft & mellow, Joe should consider hiring a real vocalist. Parts of his leads sound like Eric Johnson at times in a lot of his songs. He's trying to be, but definitely not a johnny winter, SRV, Billy Gibbons caliber of singers, song writers, guitar players. I don't care who's out there today no one will touch that era of guitarist or even come close.

  • @Napco205 He may not be of that era that you spoke of, but he IS one hell of a singer and songwriter.

  • @Napco205 He may not be of that era that you spoke of, but he IS one hell of a singer, songwriter and guitar player!

  • @Napco205 You are kidding........right?

  • Holy shit is this hot.

  • Love it at 6:00

  • Incredible playing. And his vocals have improved so much over the years. Bonamassa also gives an "honest" concert. He stays on stage for at least a couple of hours. You get your money's worth and then some. Too bad he's underappreciated here in the U.S. However, his star appears to be rising.

  • Gary Moore is dead. Long live Joe Bonamassa...and Stevie Ray smiles in his Heaven.

  • @ cosobkma

    Keep on rocking!!

  • hier au st-denis hallucinant!

  • hier au st-denis,hallucinant!

  • No artist out there like him...makes the skill some mentioned do have look and sound like child's play!

  • two drummers?!?

  • @bluesguitardude Ever heard of the Grateful Dead?

  • @rsbmwrider grateful dead? sure i have

  • one of the best players around!!!! I've seen him in West Palm Beach Florida and that boy can smoke that guitar!!! Loved watching and listening to him. It was abeautiful night and it was outdoors . I could have even touched him(but didn't) I was right down by the stage, PERFECTO Hope you come back this way Keep Rockin', LUV YA

  • WOW !!! I took a nap Sunday 3/20/2011 and when I awakened the Royal Albert video was being played by our local PBS station. OH MY GOSH THIS GUY IS AWESOME !!!!!!!!!!! WHAT GOD GIVEN TALENT ! AS SOMEONE ELSE STATED WHY DON'T WE HEAR HIM ON MAIN STREAM RADIO !!! WELL HE IS COMING TO DETROIT IN OCTOBER OF 2011 AND I HAVE TOLD MY WIFE I WILL BE THERE !!!!!!!!! HE SEEMS TO BE A VERY NICE PERSON ALSO!! I AM A 51 YR OLD AF AM AND I LUV THIS GUY !!!! SEE YOU AT THE FOX JOE:) AND TO JOE'S PARENTS THANX

  • Joe is the Blues!!!!!! Dont ever stop.

  • So Many Roads will serve as my official notice that I am resigning from the Save a Ho Project.

  • Living proof of the eternal journey of the soul.

  • I wish my parents are as supporting as his.

  • Maybe he should bang a hollywood actress and be on the cover of instyle and people. and music go to shit.....oh, wait somebody already did that. bonamassa is the fu---cking man right now in my books.... he keeps it real.

  • Man I hope one day I can play like this. Its my goal.

  • If there is ever a dislike posted on this video I will be sure to hunt them down andd cut their fuckin head off!! great song! :)

  • cant wait to hear his version of frees heartbreaker off his new album bet koss will look down and smile

  • Joe is a great blue guitarist. Wow, this is the first I know of him since a friend suggested him. What a treat !

  • I have never, ever heard anything like this. I thought SRV, Gary Moore etc. were the best, but I was so wrong. This guy can put his emotions straight into his fingerboard and let them come out as they are, because he's so good technically also. I have no words to describe this.. Thank you, Joe!

  • @slideman66 you were right Gary Moore was the best , along with Peter Green , who's song this is

  • He is Awesome!

  • tHIS IS THE FIRST TIME I'VE EVER HEARD OF THIS GUY---WHERE HAS HE BEEN HIDING????

  • fisrt time I heard of this guy where was he hiding???

  • His guitar is good, comparable to some of the greats, but his voice, he has one of the best voices for blues I've ever heard, he blows John Mayall out of the water.

  • @Spuddy92 Thats funny because he himself doesnt think much of his voice at all. I too think he has a great voice, but it is interesting how different people can experience the same thing so differently.

  • @Spuddy92 Hey now, no reason to be disparaging of the Father of the British Blues.

  • joe is a damned good guitarist,i challenge each and everyone of you to take his best performing song and put it up to jimmy pages NO QUARTER,there is still something missing in joe's playing and it show's quite frequently,i do believe it is called milage!!

  • This guy is absolutly fantastic a true gem, he is the next Clapton, or maybe he already is!!

  • he is definitely one of the most AMAZING guitarists if not the BEST in my opinion. I've actually met him once and took a pic with him and he was pretty damn cool too! Seems like a great person as well so that's really cool too!

  • His music is fantasti

  • Joe banamassa is from my Home Town :)

  • people say mayer is the most talented musician of our generation...but I believe bonamassa is

  • when you guys are done here look em up with Derek trucks, its like a devil and angel going at it out its....its so good

  • very well put. I stumbled upon this show on my Palladia cable the other night and cannot get enough. awesome guitar. MJC

  • @CHZN604 same thing here, glad my dad was flipping through the channels that day

  • one hell of a guitar player but he'll never sing with the soul of Otis Rush...

  • @ rsbmwrider - Joe is an incredible talent. The answer to your question concerning a Grammy is; What is popular is not always good & what is good is not always popular. If you were to ask me, what has been popular for the last 20 years is junk. Joe is a booming, breath of fresh air in a time of sonic environmental retardation.

  • @mtg4myhome Well said ! Thank You.

  • @mtg4myhome savage comment ... so true

  • @mtg4myhome .....I heard That !! Thank you....Well said *

  • @mtg4myhome "a time of sonic environmental retardation. thank you good sir. thank you.

  • Esta canción lo tiene todo. La emoción va subiendo y subiendo hasta llegar a una cumbre y despues sigue un pasaje suave y bello y la guitarra - inigualable. Que maestría la de Joe. Esta canción me emociona mucho. Joe you rock in any language.

  • ahahahaa, mas que platéia comportada,,,O Monstro Bonamassa detonando a guitarra, e, a galerinha sentadinha, calminha... Parece até o Brasil he he he!!

  • I grew up listening to Hendrix, Clapton, Page and others and I hafta say none of them have anything on Smokin Joe! Just got back from a show in Rochester awhile back..he truly is an awesome talent... Only thing I don't get...I understand that it is a totally different venue.. but ,...can SOMEONE please tell me why Joe is not up for several Grammy awards when Lady Gaga and thet little faggot with a bad haircut Justin Bieber are ?????

  • @rsbmwrider because if he was it wouldn't be good music. i love what john Mayer said, music like this needs a host, its just too special for everyone and anyone.

  • @rsbmwrider I agree...its all fixed I am sure...The ones who truly deserve the notice seem to slip under the radar! Glad I found him. I am going to his live show march 23rd can't wait!!!!!!!!

  • @rsbmwrider Ion Know...Ur soo right....Joe albums are soo good

  • @rsbmwrider

No Grammys for Joe because he plays REAL music - not rap and hip hop.

  • @rsbmwrider Hell i second and dare anyone to challenge!!!!

  • @rsbmwrider who owns the grammys? What do they believe in? themselves... that is main source of your question if it helps!!

  • Thats probally the smartest thing I have ever heard. I dont see how anyone could compare JB with some pop singer who sings what someone else wrote and can play nothing... THIS, is music.. Rock on JB!

  • @rsbmwrider Better yet why are there grammy awards to begin with? There are thousands of great and comparable musicians out there, allot of them completely unknown. Justice will never be regarding music, we don't need an award show walking on cracked ice that will never and can never be anything more than a joke.

  • @rsbmwrider Because kids generaly have no musical taste and need telling what to buy by the corporate industry. So called 'awards' at least partly facilitate this.

  • @rsbmwrider I really don't think you can compare anyone to Hendrix. Seriously.

  • @snakeweirdo As I said, NONE of the old Guitar heros have anything on Smokin Joe.........

  • @rsbmwrider Okay, this is going to be opinion vs opinion. Lets settle this argument: there is no better guitarist, music is subjective and not a competition. Therefore you cannot compare artists, no matter what age. BAM! Thank you.

  • @snakeweirdo I can go with that........

  • @rsbmwrider Why hate on Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga? Music is about expression. Joe is a great guitarist and lyricist and he owns millions of dollars in guitars and he's a very successful touring musician (where musicians make most of their cash btw). I think the real hate for Justin Bieber is rooted in the fact that the kid is like under 16 and has accomplished more than 99.9% of adults in the world. The kid can sing, play guitar, and drums. Don't hate, it's not what music is about.

  • @yogithecamel Who said anything about hating those "artists" ???!!!...and I use the term artist loosely.....I just don't see the talent !

As far as what they have "accomplished"... WHAT exactly would that be ?? Is music about how much money they make ??? Maybe in you world..... Besides why would you be listening to Joe anyway if you think that Bieber and Lady Gaga have talent ?? I don't get it Mr. yogithecamel...

  • @rsbmwrider If you don't think Bieber and Gaga don't have talent your just a hater. I love all music. I'm a musician and I'm writing my first album right now. I can play guitar, bass, piano and drums. I also arrange strings and horns and I can read music. I believe everyone has a voice, musically or otherwise and everyone has a right to express themselves. Just because you don't agree wtih it doesn't mean it's 'bad'. Grow up and stop acting like a child.

  • @yogithecamel I am SO happy that you can do all of those things Mr. yogithecamel.....but.... do you have talent? If so, then by your rules YOU should be famous!

I think it's time you grow up... take your medicine now and have mommy put you to bed.

  • @rsbmwrider My rules, when did I state 'rules' or say talent = being famous? Having talent and being famous have nothing to do with each other. Start making sense please. Look at Bonamassa he is arguably one of the best guitarists alive and he isn't as famous as the guys who strum chords in Blink182 or Sum41. And man I said I'm working on my first album hopefully it's good if not I will make another one. What do you do with your free time other than make little sense?

  • @rsbmwrider I'm with you my brother ! A truly amazing talent. I first saw him at age thirteen, and knew then that he was really something special. Why isn't the rest of the world saying the same thing as you are? Sheeeeesh !

  • He is epic )) ... just awesome.. Love him :-))
