I know of some very nice Otis geared traction elevators you could ride. These are at the Doubletree Suites in Waltham, Massachussetts. I stayed there, and you'd probably like the hotel itself as well as the elevators.

Those elevators remind me of the one glass elevator in the movie "The Towering Inferno".

Yes those were the actual elevators used in the filming of "The Towering Inferno" when they have a business man going up and they used a lot of film plates to film the elevators leaving the lobby.
