New York smells bad most of the time -- especially in the summer. It's only when it's windy, like it has been lately, that you get that fresh, crisp smell. The skyline gets blue instead of brown, too, which is great to see. That's why I don't complain when it gets windy -- it cleans up the air. :)

I have never stayed in a hotel room that nice. Travel lodge doesn't do slidey curtain rails. Also you spend an amazing amount of time going back and forth between countries...I am jealous. I've always wanted to see the states.
