can you tell me please for the 8258 model the crane truck, what model do i need for the rest of the parts to improve it ...i saw on ur sight that u improved it ....and i wanted to make it like that ...but i think i need more parts...don't i?
Awesome Building man....its just incredable that you have fitted all that itoo it and it still is looking That bad ass !!!....just wondering...how much the Build did it cost in Lego Parts !?!?
@Vicsam7 Don't know exactly, because most of the parts I used from existing sets I own... Guess around 200 euro if you have to order everything via Bricklink
@indieandabby While lowering the 3rd Axle the truck can gain a significant Load charge by distribuiting the Load on a greater surface....But when Lowered ( even if it Turns ) the truck still suffer from a ridiculous turning diameter..lifting it up helps counter that effect :
@wuppiesoft ...............awesome build..............any chance of sending me the instructions for me and my son to try and build, thanks in advance, keep up the good work........
Yes, this was originally the idea. However, there is no space left for a XL motor for driving... so as such, I had to gave up the idea of remote controlled.
nice.

Why does the 3rd axle lift? What is the purpose of that on a real dump truck?
indieandabby 1 year ago
@indieandabby it's to reduce friction when the truck is empty, so it can drive faster and be more fuel economic
