Thank you for your comment. The bass was quite challening indeed, but lovely to play. I have another version on YouTube, where I also switch the pedal foot length, so it resembles the original more. With these short pedals, I couldn't pull it off with shoes on. :)
I have always been envious of people who can play like you can. I've enjoyed the keyboard since I was very young, but was never very disciplined about practicing. When singing became more of my bag it took a back seat, but now I am so mad that I didn't stick with it, so I'm teaching how to play again at 31.
However, I'm nowhere close to your ability, but it is an emotional and physical release of stress at the end of the day.
Buy yourself an Electone. That gives so much satisfaction, both physically as mentally.
I feel I have developed more and more the last year of my playing. Maybe because I keep on going. If it doesn't work today, I might work tomorrow. That gives me a good feeling knowing that whatever you do, it is an investment.
I took electronic organ lessons from 1992 to 1997 I guess. Before that I had been playing the keyboard for about 3 years. Seeing George Fleury and Peter Baartmans play on their EL-90's made a change for me. After that, I just hoped to own an EL-90 one day, but back then it just seemed an impossible dream with its price. Keyboard playing has never been the same after I chose the Electone as a main instrument. I always miss something.
I am splendid!
I was surprised at the performance of the base
