Hi,i got the ubuntu 9 cd ,but after i boot with a console appears with some limited commands ,i cannot even try the live version the same screen appears with that,i've been using ubuntu 7 for a long time but nothing like this has happened before ,please give some help
Sounds like its booting into BusyBox. You could try some of the fail safe options, or when it gets to the boot menu, press E (I think, this is from memory) and it should give you a list of words, at the end put noapic noacpi and then press B I think to boo, see how that goes.
I can boot fine once I eject the SD card. I've not tried it since I updated it to the full release though. It might be fixed. There is a problem with the SD card reader as if I use it to read an SD it just won't detect it. I wonder if there is no driver for it. I saw something about a fix for SUSE out there but nothing on Ubuntu yet.
same issue here, sir.. when i disable the splash screen, it stops around something having to do with the synaptics touchpad. i have no idea why. whatever.

What EeePC do you have? I'm pretty sure that the 701 has an intel graphics card.

I get a bit further; however, my issue is with the Nvidia 1.80 drivers failing to load -- Had to format and go back to 8.04.

This is on my EeePC, I'm assuming you're not loading the nvidia drivers on that, given there isn't anything nvidia in it.
Just a recap though, it boots fine now with the SD in, looks like they fixed it.
