@1996adamlagrave Na lol, iv been shot in the throat before, mind you it does suck like hell getting shot there, knocks the wind out of you for sure, but the chances of being shot there are very low, unless your looking up at the sky while playing. most of the time your looking down feild and have the gun up to your mask/shoulder which provied extra protection, you can also invest in a neck gaurd for like $5 if your really worried.

@ay99 Na lol, iv been shot in the throat before, mind you it does suck like hell getting shot there, knocks the wind out of you for sure, but the chances of being shot there are very low, unless your looking up at the sky while playing. most of the time your looking down feild and have the gun up to your mask/shoulder which provied extra protection, you can also invest in a neck gaurd for like $5 if your really worried.

@BenAuburnHayward yea theres nothing you HAVE to wear in paintball unless you sponsored. i am Required by regulations to wear full sleve & full pants ( jerseys ) in order to play. however if you are just going for a casual fun day with friends and are afraid of it hurting, i would either go out and buy a cheap $10 protective vest or just wear a hoodie ( yes it will be hot thats what everyone does )

@TheRyong20 paintball is unfortunatly an expensive sport to play. however there are feilds that offer special discounts and offers. and it doesnt really hurt. more or less its like getting punched by your brother lol

@infectedproduction would you recommend a T68 special edition Alpha or Bravo? i think i would go for alpha only cause its hopper fed and its easier to check ammo unlike mags you have to carry a bunch. But is it a good gun?

@MirandaPearl1996 lol you should go, in fact my ex gf is the one who got me into paintball years ago, and when i went i was scared to get shot and scared id make a fool of myself. but it was actually alot of fun lol. lol im actually trying to get my current gf to go with me cuz i know shed love it. youd be surprised at how easy and fun it is

No tippman is actually not a good brand at all. In paintball anything that can be purchased at walmart other than maybe a mask, is bad.

@TheKoty333 not true. Tippman is a very good name brand. Tippman is very well know for its low prices and extreme durability, in fact, Tippman is probably the #1 choice for most scenerio players. Although i do support your statement about walmart. I prefer to use ans gear myself, but i occasioanly buy walmart brands for beginner kits to sell or kits for my friends. although personally i do not like many of thier guns.

A very cheap but also reliable kit would cost around $75-$140 depending on what you like. A very Basic Begginner package i would suggest to you would be the Spyder Victor Kit. Comes with a mask, tank, and a gun that is reliable. In fact it was my first Gun package and i was very happy with it. or you can also go to most fields and pay for rental equipment for under $30 which would include everything you need to play the day.

a tip for beginners is if u want a cheap gun get the spyder victor kit off amazon great gun non of my paintballs burst in the barrel and i got it for 80 bucks for co2 tank, marker, 6 pods, squeegee, barrel, barrel hold, mask, and belt for pods so check it out.

@blaarg001 Tippmans are great beginner guns, they are cheap and very durable. its all prefferent on to your type of field style. If your more into scenerio type paintball, then the tippmans are the better choice, if your more into speed and psp, then i would suggest the spyder pilot as a beginning gun for its speed and durability.
