Time to change the transmission filter or air filter. Driving smart like this is saving the engine b/c less stress upon the engine. Hypermiling is the smith system we truckers have known about this for a long time JB Hunt is the company that expects you to drive smith they will have a chat if your numbers are not right and their stock is #1 in the industry. JBHT is the only company that isn't afraid to hire people that are smarter than they are to me they are the best of the best industry wide.
I think the only way to make the ultimatoe difference is for everyone to continue their "pleasure" driving in order to help us get the gas prices up to $70 a gallon, then we can see some quick changes, if it would rise overnight instead a little each day
that may work to an extent, but what if gas was to drop to $1.00 a gallon, how much extra traffic would we have out here then? I kinda think people are getting out to be spitefull maybe lowering it would decrease traffic, there seems to be a lot more this year than last year, seems like the more it cost the more that get out, what do y'all think?
I see it every time gas prices jump, but they only slow down for the next two or three days. After that, or when gas prices drop a few cents they're back to normal. :(
my EPA is 25mpg----- I get 32.8 :-)

You sound like an independantly owned trucker ;)
I know the truckers aren't diggin the slower speeds people are driving..
When can we expect a decent highway lockdown strike with the truckers?
Close off those artery's I say. Slow the nation down and get those prices to drop.. :)
