Huh, I actually really like the "fast" style of the film. It's like something out of the 1920s with Charlie Chaplin, but the fact that it's set 60 years later than that makes it kind of mentally jarring. It's a neat mind-bender.
I really would have like to study this film but its just unwatchable its to fast. I would have love to show it off to my students. Sad to see something so good so damage. It would have been an amazing historical film of New York City I think no one has,
It was filmed at a rate of one frame every few seconds so unfortunately there's no way to slow it down to "normal" speed. If you're interested you can examine each frame for interesting features.
New York was pretty cool in '85 but '86 was my favorite, a lot of good movies came out during both years,as for the cars seventies cars were better.Cars became egg shells because of aerodynamics, gas mileage...etc and finally i must agree this video is kinda sh_tty,real time would have been better
Cars back then were much better designed and detailed. You could tell them apart, not like today's lame "shells on wheels". And no SUVs either!! Miss those days. Thank you for posting.
i can't believe that was 23 years ago. it seems like the 60's or 70's. i liked the FDR part my school is like kind of close to where they were filming.
Wow. I love it. Less people, less cars, and less stress. I miss the good old days.

It's a shame you're playing this movie so damn fast man. I was living in NYC in 1985 and i would have loved to watch this film at normal speed.

It was filmed at about one frame per second, to give that Benny Hill effect.
