Nothing wrong with this landing! Bad is when the plane does 3 or 4 hops before the pilot finally forces it down, or it simply stalls down! - Bin there done that, probably will do it again....In anycase any landing where there is more than just the bottom of the floats showing is a good one LOL.
He was drifting a bit due to a crosswind so not a perfect landing. He walked away from it so all is good. For some good floatplane landings check out my video. :)
he wasnt he landed about halfway in the harbor. this was shot with a telephoto so the optical illusion is that hes really close to the far side of the shore.
the music was the best part of the landing.

not really... looks like he was running out of room and he couldn't add power to smoothen it out
