Yes you did a very good job at picking that song. What town is your home in? It's looks a little different than the hills of Tennessee where I am. lol I have only seen one Hummingbird nest in my life. I found it in a pine tree and knew immediately what is was. So tiny and cute. I love hummers too. I have two Cockatiels named Daisy and Frazzle.
We live in Oceanside, California ~ about 40 miles North of San Diego. This nest was actually in a bouganvilla (I have made it into a small tree). I don't remember seeing any hummingbirds when I was growing up in Durham, North Carolina---so maybe they aren't as numerous in that area. They are out here all during the year--this is the 3rd time we've had a nest in this tree!
It's perfect, huh??? It's "Goodbye's (The Saddest Word)" by Celine Dion, from her "A New Day Has Come" cd! When I heard this song I knew it reflected the hummingbird Mother's dedication and the eventual "Goodbye. . ." that would come! Hopefully you will take a look at each of the other hummingbird videos--right now there are Parts 1-5 and I am almost finished with Part 6. I have tried to pick "that right song" for each one -- I think it makes all the difference!
