@JiaLinBraswell You're correct, JiaLin. Unfortunately, the second worse crash in Metrorail history (in terms of casualties) occurred that same day in DC. An Orange line train derailed while backing up after passing a malfunctioning rail switch between the Federal Triangle and Smithsonian. 3 people perished in the accident.
