  • You need psychiatric help, Aguilera presses you so much...

BTW, Fabian definitely wins. She slays both Aguilera and Mariah together with one single note.

  • Кристина слишком молода чтобы бороться против Лары) Лара - лучшая во всех смыслах этого слова! Lara Fabian is the BEST! =)

  • Lara Fabian *o* !!!!!!!!!

    LARA FABIAN !!

  • Comment removed

  • If were talking technique resonance and agility, obviously Lara, that's obvious. But if were talking uniqueness and entertainment, Christina wins because sometimes Lara sounds like Celine, Mariah and etc. But Christina just sounds like Christina which is probably why she is considered a legend.

  • Both are good singers.. The difference its that Xtina has like a wild voice grrr! I love it! And Lara's voice its like good girl voice lol like a bit more sweet XD

  • @Princhick22 Lol, true =) The only big exception is when Lara performed with Johnny Halliday "Requiem Pour Un Fou". She actually managed to sound/look intimidating, lol.

  • lara fabian !!!! chrisitina aguilera je trouve a beaucoup de puissance + bon timbre de voix mais quand elle force elle a un truc ki me derange (((( son vibrato??) on a limpression toute les note sont forcés

  • I like christina better. But tht other lady is good too

  • Lara Fabian definitely wins, but Aguilera is also good.

  • LARA FABIAN :)

  • excelent choice! two amazing singers! but I find lara a bit more well trained than christina and she does way less mistakes!

  • who the fuck cares???

    I LOVE Christina!

  • HAHA, I really have to answer who wins?

  • both are amazing, but somehow simething is missing in laras voice. CHRISTINA.

  • Christina has an amazingly beautiful voice, but she's just screaming not singing. and Lara Fabian... she's a GODDESS! The most divine talent I've seen in my life)

  • @belleathenais Lara Fabian, who???

  • @Simoneee65 Check 2nd video response.

  • haha why are xtina fans accusing him of picking on xtina? he just showed 2 singers belting the same notes. thats because deep down in your heart you know xtina is a flop

  • @FrostMan92 ahahaha, what are you some kind of psycho-analyst, I like Xtina and that's not how I feel about her at all! you totally suck at judging.

  • Christina Aguilera is a great singer, but in MY opinion Lara is better, she has much more control, and she spends much emotion singing... I doubt that Christina is able to sing Adagio. ONLY MY OPINION

  • @shazu1990 your comment is completely useless, you have to know, to be able to speak ¬¬

  • Christina wins for sure! Who is that old bitch Lara FLOPbian? She makes Xtina's worst technique sound operatic.

  • @shazu1990 Lara is 100xtimes the vocalist, musician, interpreter Christina is. She is 41 years old now and still in much better vocal condition than Christina (who currently faces a huge decline). Not to mention that Lara has sang in like 10 languages. The woman is a vocal beast and her cover of Caruso is enough to put her in a league of her own. Show some respect to actual talent.

  • @Luxiusta07 a league of her own? A fart sounded better than Fabian's cover of Caruso. At least Queentina doesn't have a tone as bland as dry bread LMAO, no matter how bad the technique is.

  • @shazu1990 Talking about farts and puting the word ''Queen'' in front of Christina's name will not validate your laughable comment.

Lara's solid intonation, crystal clear phrasing, powerful mid belts, excellent breath control, beautiful delivery of legato, sense of lyricism and her unique interpretive skills in her perfomance of Caruso explain why she is in a league of her own. Getting rid of your tone deafness would be the first step to get what I'm saying.

  • @shazu1990 Oh yes. Guess what ! Tone is up to opinion and proves nothing. #Next !

Technique, musicality, interpretive skills and vocal condition aren't and when it comes to these Christina is objectively dumped. Therefore what YOU think of their voices is totally - and I mean TOTALLY - irrelevant.

PS : Don't forget to ask from your pedophile friend to make a rant bashing Lara. :)

  • @Luxiusta07 Still no matter how superior Fabian's musicianship gets, her tone sucks. I like her falsettos and vibratos I'l give her that, everything else sucks when hearing her voice, not matter how disciplined her singing is and I hope Fabian realises it one day.

  • Lara es mucho mejor, su voz es de un ángel y su técnica vocal es perfecta.

  • xtina is nice, but she is no match for lara. lara is the best vocalist of the two hands down

  • Lara mil veces!!!!!!!!

  • I find your constant need for picking on Christina's vocal technique quite amusing. No, she is not using technique which trained singers do, instead, she focuses on raw talent which she said in one of the interviews. She has the most beautiful voice color I've ever heard and no matter how much she screams, grunts or does other things that annoy you, she will still be loved and respected for those same things along with her songs, vocals and emotional expression by milions of people out there.

  • @temposify I see what you're saying, but if she focused on her technique, she would be considered more talented and be taken more seriously in terms of a vocalist.

  • @BigBlyeEyes1234 I agree, but being a singer is more than just being a good vocalist. I would really like her to take some lessons though, in order to preserve that beautiful voice, but I guess it's just not her point of view.

  • @temposify This video is not focused on Christina's technique, of course u would feel that way if u hear Lara in the same video considering her flawless technique. Anyway straining voice is not raw. But it is true that her voice itself is unique.

  • Christina Aguilera sounds so much better....

  • lara fabian wins

  • Comment removed

  • You sure do enjoy picking on Christina. LOL. One of her appealing qualities is the rawness of her emotions and also the "rawness" of her voice. At times she almost sounds like a gritty rock/jazz singer. Forget about technique/pitch...it's the entire package which makes her unique, just like Mariah, for example.

  • stop making these cruel videos about me! i can't belt to save my worthless life but i don't need to because i'm soulful!!!!! something you people clearly know nothing about :(

  • las dos son muy buenas pero con estilos distintos no creo que se pueda comparar el rango vocal

  • Yes, you DO know her jajajjaja!!!

  • ¡ Lara SLAYS !

  • The F5 at 2:53 is supernatural!

The F#5 at 3:06 is... is... wtf was that?

  • @RomuloVideos2 Lol 3:06 #FAIL

  • @RomuloVideos2 lol ...at 'wtf was that?'

  • @kelvinpyaeko I was just kidding. I actually enjoy Christina in music's today. She's very talented.

  • @RomuloVideos2 lol i know. i do enjoy some of her songs, too. indeed she is a talented singer, but that F5 is still WTF compared to lara's lol :)

  • @kelvinpyaeko Well, she didn't had proper technique to do it, but she had the capacity. I still like her anyway.

  • Lara got a nice technique and she is not noisy and off-key

  • STOP IT!!!!!!!!!!!

  • is dark hair famous before? or maybe they're naturally dark haired?

on the D5 lara fabian has black hair, but i've alyways seen her blonde,

i also saw an old vid of barbra streisand with black hair, when i've always known her blonde, as well as celine dion i saw an old pic of her with black hair when we all know she;s blonde

are they really blonde and they just blacken their hair as a trend before?

    or they're naturally black haired?

  • why the fuck is gaga here !

  • @SteveCapSud Christina goes into the "registers of coloratura soprano"?? lmao. Coloratura sopranos use connected head voice, not a shrieky retarded sounding falsetto that MEN use to imitate it. Try again.

  • @SteveCapSud You, my friend, need to ditch whatever free translater you're using, because your comments make absolutely no sense as of right now lmao.

  • @SteveCapSud Gaga has a "small" voice? lmao. Gaga actually has quite a powerful voice. She can get just as "loud" as Christina, in fact; she just doesn't flaunt her abilities as often, which is probably why you're not aware of her ability to do so.

  • @mellynumerounoo I agree! Lady Gaga has much more resonance. Her voice is very powerful! LOL at the person saying that she has a small voice.

  • What's the performance at 2:02?

  • @mAnNyElLaTiNo33 IT is Christina's "Come On Over" from her back to basics tour.

  • @UniqualovesAustin Thank youu

  • @mAnNyElLaTiNo33 come on over live down under

  • go to XTINASDISCIPLE channel.. you'll find your video that is stolen by him and use it as his video

  • The stupid battle))))))) All of us know WHO are winner ;)

  • lara lara lara.....her singing technique is FAR better then christina's

  • Xtina Eb5. What song and performance.

  • @LoboAscuridad Btw, Christina's Eb5 is in this video ID: watch?v=5jkGYj0a7cU

  • Lara Fabian, on, well...every note.

  • Comment removed

  • @CDionLive lol..What I said makes sense because how can those "OBSESSED HATERS" MAKE COMPARISONS OF TALENTED SINGERS LIKE WHITNEY/MARIAH THAT HAD "VOCAL LESSONS" TO A "RAW NATURAL TALENTED SINGER" LIKE CHRISTINA THAT DIDN'T? So your comment is invalid like theirs,it's like comparing apples to oranges. The only way this would make sense is if they compared Christina to other singers that DIDN'T have training like her,I'm not trying to argue just giving my point of view!!!!

  • West voice, stefagno and all the other idiots who always criticize christina for being a so called horrible singer are always making video of her...By making all these videos proves nothing and no you are not educating nobody your just using these videos as a platform to argue with ppl...If your always talking about someone its for a reason, stay sprung :)

  • First of all... Lara is 41 years old and Christina is only 30, even like that Lara is more powerfull... Other thing, at 3:34 it's a G#5, not just a G5, alright? Lara is on of the sopranos who can hit this not in chest voice, isn't mixed or head voice, it's simply chest voice, she is amazing. And she can hit to a D6 in head voice. ;)

  • Lara ! She is so powerful ! Poor Failtina :/

  • @Aontiverozol She's been called "the Voice of the Generation" by Justin Timberlake and her delusional stans. Guess it's very reliable. #FAIL

  • Both of them are really good. I hope we have more singers like these two and less Gagas, don't u think?

  • @callastoujours Disagreed..

  • @callastoujours Technique-wise, Gaga slays Xtincta.

  • @callastoujours Gaga has a great voice actually. She can belt all of the same notes that Christina can btw.

  • Aguilera ROCKS hauahau THE BEST but i like of LARA too

    Mas Christina Aguilera é demais

  • WOW, Fabian is amazing indeed, she does slay Aguilera on many occasions, but at 3:15 she was having some difficulties catching her breath to hit the F#5, she was even twisting her abdomen in too much effort, not a good sign.

  • @kaiyno Lol, no xD That was a dramatic interpretation in an acoustic show. She was simply overacting, getting close to tears and then throwing herself to the ground. The singing was fine.

  • @AnonimuzZ Never said the singing wasn't fine, I said the BREATHING wasn't fine, even though she was gasping for some air she did hit the F#5 purely.

  • @kaiyno Lol. Anyway, I think all of it was intentional. It makes her look more desperate, as the song character is.

  • @AnonimuzZ Ok, that's fine.

  • @kaiyno She wasnt struggling for breath there. It was intentional.

  • @stardusth2o I know, I got that clear by another person, I thought she was struggling but she actually isn't, sorry for that :)

  • @kaiyno No need to apologize :)

  • @stardusth2o Thanks :)

  • Aguilera ("no" technique wins for me sorry :) )

  • lara e una dea vocale

  • rien a voir. les deux son de tres grande chanteuse. pour quoi les mettre en compétition ? i love lara

  • Lara Fabian has a great tone too! Her voice is rich! Christina's voice is edgy! Christina's power lies mostly from G4-D5 at most.

  • The interesting that Beethoven's Apassionata was played at the end!

  • Xtina F5 looked lipped.. but not sure if its lipped.. and Xtina G5 was effortless.

Xtina moves her mouth a lot on that C5. And Xtina's C#5 she didn't move her mouth. Why?

Xtina is louder and Lara is not loud.

I'm not sure who won this lol.

  • Wow, I am.

  • @AnonimuzZ Am what? lol

  • @LoboAscuridad Sure of who won this (on a purely technical basis, of course - I never compare singers artistically, and this is also not the purpose of this video). Xtina's movements are more for style than necessity. It's like Whitney making her weird jaw dance whenever she applied vibrato to a note. And Xtina's G5 wasn't effortless. It was a screech xD People don't need to make weird faces just because they're straining, lol.

  • @AnonimuzZ lol. Which one is better: To use your jaw or not use your jaw to belt?

  • @LoboAscuridad If it's just to look sexy, it really doesn't matter. It's like the difference between wearing jeans or boardshorts. If you're applying tension to the jaw, and using it as a clutch, it obviously is wrong. The jaw always has to be relaxed and, to some extent, it does need to move, in order to help form and place the different vowel sounds and to adjust the vocal resonance/projection. So, it's good to move the jaw, but only without tension and as a result of good technique.

  • @AnonimuzZ OKay. Is Xtina using it wrong?

  • @LoboAscuridad She might be forcing, but that's probably not her jaw's fault.

  • @AnonimuzZ

Christina is a case study of how bad technique can wreck a talented instrument

She uses diaphragmatic attack, basically coughing or barking her notes instead of using proper breathe support.

She sings with so much tension and uses her swallowing muscles to control her sound instead of using proper breathe support, and her larynx goes up and closes her throat producing a tiny chihuahua yelp.

Also she pushes her larynx to the front like Kermit the frog trying to sound "richer".

  • @primohomme Haha, yeah. For the potential she has (her range, her gorgeous tone...), it's pretty stupid of her not to care a bit more about preserving and improving what she's got. But she seems to be doing it consciously, so what can I say? One thing is certain, she is quite passionate. To me, that is the most important thing. A good vocal technique gives singers extra tools to convey whatever feeling they want, but it's not superior to that emotion they're showcasing, imo.

  • @AnonimuzZ

Well, I think if her tone is "gorgeous" or not is entirely up to opinion, I think she has a nice timbre to her voice but there are others with a more beautiful more creamy more velvety timbre, amongst them Lara Fabian and Jane Monheit. But either way, from a great vocal I not only want emotion but also beauty, and by beauty I don't mean the timbre of the voice, but for it to be well sung, in tune, musical, etc. For me...Christina doesn't really achieve that often.

  • @primohomme Oh, yeah, I personally like her tone, but that's not an universal rule. I do prefer the tones of the singers you mentioned, and they also display amazing technique, that doesn't exist in Christina's world. I guess it will take a long time before she consistently comes close to the beauty you appreciate =\ I would also like to see her grow technically.

  • @AnonimuzZ

She has some recordings in which I like her singing, mainly when she is crooning in a limited range:

Falling in love again, Genie 2.0, Dynamite, I am, Birds of prey, Little dreamer, I got trouble, Save me from myself, etc

IMO, when she is singing like that she sounds her very best.

  • @primohomme "Save Me From Myself" is my favorite song from her. I really tend to like the understated performances, especially coming from usually hysterical (I'm saying it mostly in a good way, but for Christina it's really the negative one =P) singers. My favorite song from Beyoncé ended up being "I Miss You" for the same reason.

  • Lara wins. I think she's the perfect "vocal foil" to Christina.

  • Lara has amazing control over her voice. Xtina is not in her league.

  • @Lara's C5: What incredible breath control!!!

  • Lara Fabian ;)

  • In fact Lara does hit a G#in chest voice at 3:34, Itsn't a G5. Just few sopranos can do this, Lara is on of those. She has an Amazing vocal range and is also very technic. She studied over 10 years at the Royal consevtaory of erudite music of Brussels, capital of Belgium.

  • Lara, for sure, the remain of the vocalist as MC, CA.

  • CHRISTINA!

  • I'm a fan of Lara Fabian and I respect Christina and Céline as singers. Stop comparing them!! Hate when people do these kind of videos! :S

  • @danl159 I know I also HATE when people do these kind of videos because most if not all of these singers HAD "Vocal Training" unlike Christina which is "UN-FAIR Comparison" you hear me @WestVoice..lol @danl159 Thanks for respecting Christina she surely sings fairly well for artist that didn't have any lessons she's the only, and the youngest one to make it on "The Rollingstones" list, she's in the Top 5 "MTV Greastest Voices Of All Time",and many more. That's great for a DIAMOND in a rough!!!! :)

  • This is not appropriate for a comparison. They are totally different singers stylistically.

  • In Lara's performance in her C#5 note, what's the title of the song?

  • @SerramiahmE "Llora".

  • lmao. Seriously?

  • She could take up some lesson to improve her vocal skills and then her sound will be great and unrepeatable. She is a good singer but nowadays she isn't better than Lara Fabian. Lara has a natural tone and Christina will never be able to produce something like this and she doesn't need to. I can understand why people usually compare Celine and Lara (their voices have some similarites), but why did you do this one? They are quite different and will never have similarities. Thanks

  • @Forever1Charmed

It's great technique v/s no technique

  • I will never understand all those people who say that Lara Fabian is a Celine's wannabe. She isn't and she never was. They have absolutely different voices. What about this battle? I have read the comment below and I am really socked! Tell me how could people say so many cruel thing writing some fake agruments to prove it? You know nothing about music and you will never know how to produce the sound correctly. Christina has a great voice, but she doesn't use it correctly.

  • @SteveCapSud G6 is whistle Register.. It's easier to use then belting a c5 .. Most singers have head registers that overlap their chest voice by an octave anyway so it hardly makes her special.

  • @SteveCapSud i dont consider screams or exclamations much of a sung note so i dont consider them...maybe potential but they aren't sung. there's videos of kelly clarskon screaming up to E7/F7 but i don't consider that a part of her range. unless they are sung in whistle or super head then i don't consider it. the highest note she still sung at her debut era was A6 but you can tell it lacked control

  • I don't understand why Rolling Stones placed Christina Aguilera as #58 in the 100 Greatest singers of all time list if she is as bad as the people here make her out to be... :/

  • @GayAsnBoy because of all the lists rollingstone mag has done the greatest singers list is the most subjective because it wasn't placed on technique. if they just wanted voices then they should have broken it up in genres because its hard to comparing voices of iggy pop, kurt cobain, axel rose, and byork with the likes of aretha, ray charles, whitney houston. its almost as controversial as putting michael jacksonat #2 of greatest artist behind the beatles after he died but on a list CONT

  • @GayAsnBoy of 100 greatest back in like 98 he was in the 40's. mj is great but he is not the 2nd best artist behind the beatles especially ahead of led zeppelin, the rollingstones, the who, and bob dylan.

  • @bconsitt LOL inbox me!

  • 3:09 Oops! OUT OF TUNE!

  • @SteveCapSud when has xtina hit a D7? she has trouble maintianing a G6

  • @SteveCapSud "Christina wins easily and furthermore she has a black voice and a flat voice thus her stamp is the most remarkable of quite confused."- LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • @Chimier how can one have a black and and a flat(?) voice? i don't understand that statement

  • @SteveCapSud

A better voice? LMAO, someone whose voice is broken into pieces without connection between registers, someone who can't hold a note without sounding like she is choking, someone who sounds thin and coarse past a certain MIDDLE voice note, someone who can't stay in tune, etc etc etc...CANNOT be said to have a good voice. She has a midly nice timbre, and that's it, and if her timbre is all she has to offer, then she is at a disadvantage.

  • @SteveCapSud Black voice? She doesn't sound like Patti Labelle or Aretha Franklin, if that's what you meant... Flat voice?? You mean flat as in off-key (singing below the pitch)?

  • @WestVoice haha...i think thats what he means and probably comes to realize that she gets flat a lot

  • it's so so easy...lara for sure!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @primohomme Oopsie! Steepest drop off the charts has been achieved by the tranny caca btw sold 174,000 copies i guess people don't care for her music unless is priced what it worths 0.99 cents or less #LOL Can't wait for worldwide total this week that's going to be even funnier

  • @lc0309 Get away from Primohomme, you dirty smelly little creature!

  • @lc0309

You wish your fave could sell 174,000

How many did she sell her debut week in UK? 20,000 copies? LMAO.

  • @lc0309 Yet "Caca" in her second week sold more than Christina in her FIRST. Ooops! Bionic is a certified FLOP. 226,000 in the US (lol Gaga's second week sales only 52k away...how embarrassing for Christina) and 500k worldwide.

"Can't wait for worldwide total this week that's going to be even funnier"- One thing's for sure, it'll be FAR more than Christina. Born This Way has already sold 3 million worldwide....in TWO weeks. Ooops!

  • They are outstanding in their own way. Lara with her classical sound, and Christina with the raspy one. I like both of them but I prefer Christina.

  • @Aontiverozol

We don't expect her to be perfect, we only expect her to sing in tune and not crack or sound strained! that's the bottom line requirements to be a great singer from a vocal skills perspective

  • @primohomme hmmm...why do these people induldge in such fals idols? maybe they were also a part of the "believers" that the world would end may 21

  • @Aontiverozol Lmao ! Yeah ! I posted to your account already xD

  • Comment removed

  • A big #LOL This fight was over before it even begun. Their very

first C5 Belts end the competion. Lara Slayed.

  • @Aontiverozol

Bizarre, you are acting like Xtinasdisciple's baby

I am not the one saying Christina can't sing...music itself says so :)

When someone can't stay in tune, goes off tempo, and is overall a poor musicianship...then they are not great, at least not at a very skilled level. I think the girl has a good instrument she never learned to properly use, that's all.

And yes, I am a bit of an elitist

  • Great vid west. Um xtina took the Cs and tht Eb5 but lara won overall. Shes really good

  • @Aontiverozol whit doesnt smack mimi in tney prime. Actually if they were to get into a battle theyd were each other to the ground. In other words itd be a stale mate. Because on a tech amd musical level they both bring something to the plate. Oh yea friend I wont be available dor like a few weeks cuz internet aint up yet. Im usin ,y mama phne but only for short period. Have a nice day. Ill trt to contact u anc o th er friends later

  • @Aontiverozol

The fact you get upset because someone criticizes your favorite singer shows you hold her in some kind of pedestal, thus you do worship her.

And I really don't care what you think of me, why would I?

Also keep in mind that 800 years ago if you asked anyone about the earth they would tell you it's flat and the sun spins around it, so you see...opinion is not objective truth. And most people are too stupid and form opions by what the media tells them is good.

  • @Aontiverozol

It's not my fault you worship a celebrity or that you feel the need to defend her :)

And maybe it's time you stop listening to garbage and start listening to real singers

For example Lara Fabian, I think that way you would start improving vocally. We can only be as good as those we admire, and if those we admire are no good at all, well...

  • @Aontiverozol

And emotion is not all that's needed to be a great singer, if we think emotion is all that matters we might as well be singing completely off tune and off tempo and screaming our heads off, or we might be listening to the hysterical crying of someone since emotion is all that matters.

  • @Aontiverozol

what would I be jealous of? I don't think her singing is attractive, I find it actually extremely ugly. I like singing that sound effortless or that at least gives the illusion of effortlessness, I don't want to hear a singer struggling for the notes, I don't want to hear a singer fighting their way through a song, it's not attractive to my taste.

  • @Aontiverozol

There are BETTER ways of singing, that produce more resonance, more connection between the registers, more freedom across the voice, more round and beautiful tones.

I don't think the 3 good notes Christina has in her throat make her voice beautiful, to call a voice beautiful I require at least 1 and a half octaves, and the poor girl can barely manage half of an octave in a good day without straining or sounding foggy and hollow.

  • @Mcvideos92 You're so ignorant that you can't distinguish sing from success in the music industry. Madonna would be better than Mariah and Whitney if success would be counted as being someone.

Go search more about music and sing. Listen to Lara Fabian before you judge her as nobody.

Christina is good. I really enjoy her work, but definitely she isn't and could never be in the same level as Lara as a singer.

  • @RomuloVideos2 Oh Lord, Move on, Everyone else has. Idc about Lara, Shes Living her life, i am living mines. Im not a fan..she has a nice voice I admit that.. Im not gonna argue with you anymore its over...

  • @Mcvideos92 Of course you'll not. You don't have any valid argument for that. If you want me to move on, you'd better think twice before talking bullshit.

  • @RomuloVideos2 Lmao w.e im done arguing over someone who does not pay for my food and clothes..

  • @Mcvideos92 That's ok, so why you're still here?

  • Laura = Diaphragm/mixed head voice singing , XTUNA = tuna jelly singing?

  • Comment removed

  • Lara wins for sure

  • @KyoHanjin She does not! Christina wins! XD

  • @Breniznit

She wins in straining and vocal chord destruction lol ^^.

  • @KyoHanjin I am finding to difficult defending Christina for lols, there is just nothing else to say to help her.No wonder her fans are so lost for words all the time.. Perhaps they aren't stupid after all, maybe she just really sucks :/
