Now thats oil smoke on this one. I had a 4.3L in a Blazer that started doing that at about 80K miles. Every cold start it would do it. A common cause is worn valve guide seals. When worn they allow oil to seep past the valve and pool on the top of the piston. When you start it the smoke is from that oil burning off. Easy fix though.

Yeah, it's exactly that, I have to change it when I come back, cause now the van is in Switzerland and I am in Iceland... Mine began to do it at about 130kmiles, in the same time than the white steam... But it had not been driven (or so few : 600miles) for 2 years when I got it, so the oil and water are very old, and that's very bad
