  • It's not to loud inside the cab. That's what I like about the exhaust. The K&N CAI makes it a little louder on acceleration.

  • @louiestoys

    like how loud is it?

cause im really lookin into this one and the flowmaster american thunder but i cant deciede :/

  • @nightmare4150 I would think the Flowmasters would be louder. I have Flowmasters on my '01Cobra. It's much louder than the Gibson's on my Tacoma. Then again the Cobra's an 8, the Tacoma's a 6.

  • is it pretty loud inside the cab? cause im thinking about gettin the same gibson exhaust.

  • Thanks vintage1717. The exhaust and CAI are made for the specific year and, engine size.

  • @louiestoys thanks, appreciate the reply

  • my god that sounds amazing. did you just get the one for the tacoma or is there a bunch of them made by gibson, and same question of CAI? thanks

  • Thats exactly the truck I want. A silver Tacoma with nerf bars and a nice exhaust!!!!

  • sound is the biggest difference in installing a CAI, slight in power, but mostly in sound

  • hey when you put the k&n cold air intake could you tell the difference...i have a 97' taco with flowmaster and supercharger and was gonna buy a k&n but i wanted to know if it helped any

  • I noticed a slight difference in acceleration, especially going uphill. Most noticeable is a better sound on acceleration.

  • Good sounding truck!

And to the guy below my comment: i love my 05 prerunner tacoma & also no problems since new.

  • Hey bro. Just was wonderin what you think of the tacoma... been plannin on gettin one :D

  • Hey. I love it. My wife enjoys driving it too. I bought it new in 2005. No problems.

    Thanks.

  • is your gibson exhaust the stainless or the aluminized one

  • The stainless......

  • i'm wondering i really don't wanna pay the extra 110 bucks for the stainless, but i just might! we'll have to see, either way your Taco sounds great!!!

  • Thanks.

  • Hi. As far as fuel mileage, nothing noticeable. Power, I believe I've picked up a few horse power. I notice a big difference on uphill acceleration. Personally, I'm not a fan of performance chips. With bigger wheels/tires, I really don't think there's to much you can do about better gas mileage. (I'll bet your truck looks great!) Thanks...........

  • hey, did you get any better in fuel milage/power ?? i have a 06 tacoma access cab like yours with a airaid intake..and i'd like to get a exhaust for it/chip to get milage up cause my tries/lift didn't help much. what ya think

  • How much total horsepower did u gain from the K&N intake and Gibson total? Can u really tell the diference?

  • I really couldn't say. I feeel it has a little more power, especially when passing and, going up hill.

  • WOW!!!! that sounds really nice i want to get that for my truck.which cat-back do you have exactly theres the oval and round not sure on the difference in sound tho.

  • Thanks. If your asking about the exhaust outlet, it's round.

  • nice truck mate

  • I like the sound of it too. Not much noise inside the cab as well. What is the model number or item number for this Gibson exhaust and is it side swept?

  • is that the k&n 77 Series Air Intake

  • It's the 63 Series Air Intake Kit (AirCharger)

  • do u have any headers or any thing like that or is it just the k&n intake and the exhaust? sounds great, thanx.

  • Thanks.

    Just the intake and exhaust.

  • sweet dude, i'm going to get it now after hearing on your truck. your truck sounds sick-nasty with that thing on there. thanks for posting this video, and thanks for all your help and your time. i think the only problem i'm going to have is i'm going to be on the gas all the time just to here this thing go ROAR! lol. thanks again.

  • isnt the K&N kinda loud or is it ok, cause im planning on getting one, but im afraid it could get annoying after driving around after a couple of hours in the cabin??

  • It's not to bad. It gives your motor a little more aggresive sound on acceleration.

  • ok, i'm looking for kind of an aggressive sounding exhaust for my silver 08 double cab TRD off road tacoma (my god that's a mouthful) that's not real loud so when i'm going down the freeway i'm not being annoyed. do you think this exhaust is for me? do you have any regrets? thanks.

  • That's exactly what I was looking for. I think you'd like this set-up. Absolutely no regrets. Easy installation.

  • Do you have any videos revving outside the truck?

  • No, sorry.

  • that sounds really nice man. is that the stainless steel or aluminized gibson?

  • Thanks! It's the stainless.
